She has been with us since 2/21/2022, rescued while pregnant, and she did everything right. She brought her babies into the world safely, raised them with love, and watched every one of them leave for families of their own. And still… Patience waits. Patience is safe, stable, and deeply loved. She has been with the same truly incredible foster for many years—someone who knows her heart, respects her boundaries, and advocates fiercely for her. Because of this amazing foster, Patience has had the time and space to heal, grow, and feel secure. She is potty trained, knows her basic commands, and is very treat-motivated. Patience is extremely protective of her home, which is why she needs a female-only household with someone who understands and respects her need for safety and trust. Once she feels safe, her loyalty is unmatched and her love runs deep. Patience thrives with another dog and does well with respectful kids. While she hasn’t lived around cats in many years, she previously showed playful, curious behavior with them, so any cat introductions should be slow and supervised. Nearly four years is far too long. Patience has waited quietly, patiently, and hopefully. Please don’t let her reach another anniversary without a family of her own.
