A life change for Polly's owners means that she is looking for a new home. This gentle giant is shy at first, but within a few minutes she's sitting at your feet and leaning her whole body on you. She has met a lot of farm animals but has only lived with other dogs and children. While she can get into a car and take a trip, she does get carsick and just becomes a drool monster until she gets to her destination. She can handle about 30 minutes without incident, but anything over that distance can be rough on her. Despite looking like a livestock guardian dog, she prefers to be inside with her people but loves to walk around her yard before snuggling in for a nap. She will try to get in your lap if you let her. Apply to meet this gentle giant today!

Luna's the most confident and outgoing dog! Her parents had a life change and now she needs a new home. Luna is independent! She loves to play in the yard, and nose around to see who has been walking nearby. She is a wanderer, if you want to walk a few miles, she's up for the adventure. While Luna has met many farm animals, she has only ever lived with dogs and humans. She loves kids and is gentle despite her 125 lbs body when her tinier humans take her for a walk. She did see a cat when she came into BDAR, and wanted to chase. She has lived with them, but should have close supervision with cats in the future. Luna will need space to roam. She wouldn't do well without a yard. She currently lives with a full yard, entrance to a garage, and barn. She doesn't need anything bigger, but couldn't live without a yard. Luna does the cutest thing with her tennis balls too. She pounces on the like she's a tiny cat. It's pretty comical. Apply to meet this great gal, today!

Story
Luna is kind with a playful side. She enjoys playing with a ball and her sister Polly. Sometimes she does not realize her size, currently +100lbs, but it is mostly because she wants attention and to give kisses. She also is cautious around new people, but will step back if scared and does not react aggressively even in surprising situations. She has grown up around cats, dogs, and kids aged 2-15 and does great with all of them. Luna does good on a leash, but can get stubborn if she gets her nose to the ground. She does not startle as easily. Luna loves being outside and inside, but has been more stubborn towards potty training. While inside she will need a watchful eye until fully trained. She prefers to spend most of her time outside. Overall Luna is a great dog and loves to interact with people and other animals and loves attention, loves to give kisses, and to play with her sister Polly. Because we are moving we cannot house her and want to find her a good home.
