Story
Maru is a handsome 6 year old boy with the sweetest demeanor. He is well trained, fluffy, very calm, and never barks. He opens up once he gets to know you and is quick to wag his tail and do a little dance when he sees you. Every pet sitter who watches him says he’s the easiest dog. Aside from being walked and fed, he requires very minimal effort. He has 0 behavioral issues and is content lounging all day. He’s very food motivated and will perk up when dinner is cooking. He enjoys the company of other dogs and even shares a bed with some when he has sleepovers at the pet sitters house. Maru came from Korea and had a tough life- he was in a car accident and has a bad leg. It doesn’t affect him though, he runs, goes up stairs, and is super agile. He does have some anxiety and can shake when nervous but he is on medication and has been doing much better. He’s looking for a calm home, maybe with a brother or sister to keep him company. He’s also a great low maintenance starter dog.

Story
Hi, my name is Olivia.  My brother, Elliott, and I were taken to the Nashville shelter when our owner was evicted.  We did not get to stay together.  That was scary to me.  I kept wondering where my big brother was.  We were only there a short time when Miss Vivienne inquired about me.  She told the shelter that she had an available foster and would like me to join the Cavalry.  She did not know that Elliott and I had come in together.  As soon as she was told, Elliott got to come too.  I was so happy to see him walking to the car.  We knew that everything would not be alright. I was a little shy at first.  All I wanted to do was show my foster mom my tummy so she would pet me.  I also would not stand up for my photo shoot.  Now I am blossoming right before my foster mom’s eyes.  I am a happy little lady who gets along well with everyone.  I have made friends with some of the resident dogs and am also good with the resident cats.  We have a nice fenced-in yard to play in and a fenced-in field where we go for walks.  It is so nice even when it is a bit cold.  I just put on my coat and off we go.  I love my foster mom and like to know where she is.  If I can get there first, I love to sit in her lap.  Sometimes, though, I have to settle for another chair or a bed on the floor.  That is OK.  I am still close by.     I have learned how to use the doggie door and go outside to do my business.  I am also learning that I eat in my crate and that I need to go there for my treats.  I am a super sweet little lady who would love to have my very own family to love and cherish.  I am young and have lots of love to give.  I hope that will be to you.   To learn more about Olivia and to request an application, please contact Vivienne at vivienneajames@gmail.com.  APPROVED APPLICATION AND ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED.
