Story
Approx. DOB: 11/27/17                 Approx. Weight:  20 Lbs      Adoption Fee: $200 includes a 2 week trial to ensure everyone's happiness! * NEEDS A PERSON (OR FAMILY) THAT IS A HOMEBODY * FOREVER HOME - HE NEEDS TO BE THE ONLY DOG OR HOME WITH CALM FEMALE DOG * NEEDS A FENCED YARD Due to a baby's severe allergies Ernie needs to find a new home at the recommendation of the pediatrician.  Ernie is a 6 year old Bichon mix, neutered male. Current on vaccines, heart-worm check and fecal, he also just had a dental cleaning. Ernie is super cute and has an adorable under bite, especially when he smiles!  He loves to go for car rides and also does well taking walks. He needs to be in a home with no other dogs or a calm girl dog.  He does have separation anxiety and takes medication daily for it. He has had training which has made his anxiety much better. It would be best for him to be in a home where he has people around most of the day. He truly is a lover and very loyal! He is a great guard dog and listens for unusual sounds in his foster home.  He is crated for short periods and sometimes up to 7 hours if his foster works.  If you are interested in adopting Ernie, please complete the adoption application located at www.furrykidsrefuge.org/adoptadog and a dedicated volunteer will get back to you as soon as possible.     Furry Kids' Refuge is in need of good quality dog and puppy food with meat as the first ingredient.  You can drop off donations at our weekly adoption events at the Lee's Summit Petco (1860 NW Chipman Road, Lee's Summit, MO), Saturdays only from 11am to 2:00 p.m.  Donations are tax deductible as allowed by law.  Would you like to foster a Furry Kid? Furry Kids' Refuge will supply the food & vet care while you supply the basic house rules & love.......win-win for all!!  Just visit our website http://www.furrykidsrefuge.org/category/fostering/  for more information. Thanks for your support!
