Story
🐾 Meet Jack, our charming 7 1/2-year-old purebred Tonkinese with a beautiful blue point coat, and ultra friendly personality! As much as it pains us, our growing family has led Jack to display signs of stress, including occasional urination. With a heavy heart, we believe it's in Jack's best interest to find a new loving home without the added pressure of a busy toddler and infant. Jack is incredibly affectionate, and thrives on attention, which unfortunately we can no longer provide to him like we used to. We hope his next family will cherish and care for him as much as we have over the past 7 1/2 years. We DO have another cat, which Jack is good with but he is definitely the alpha, so I would recommend other pets do not compete with his strong personality. Jack is also VERY good with kids, but I would ensure they are of age to respect animals. If you can provide a warm, loving, and more peaceful environment for Jack, please consider welcoming him into your heart and home. 🏡💙

Story
Hi there! My name is Arisa! I'm 16 years old and I was returned to Maxfund because my health requirements had become too much for my previous owner. I do have hypothyroid and long term I will need dental check ups, but don't fret! The hypothyroid can be managed with medicine, which I'm a really good girl at taking! I do well with other cats, but not so great with kiddos! It's unknown how I do with dogs, but that's something I'm always willing to test for you! Come stop by and see me, and I'm sure we'll fall in love!

Story
Sammy boy here. I'm so excited to share my story with you all.I am just over 15 years old and have lived my best life so far. I have always been in the same household as my sister Sadie, which is why I have been exposed to being around at least another cat my entire life. I was not introduced to other cats or dogs outside of the cat I was already living with but have gotten some exposure in the shelter being around other cats and have done fine. One thing that really makes me happy throughout the day is knowing that I get some catio time with sunshine and a cool breeze. I do enjoy bird watching when lounging out on the catio. I came to MaxFund in June of this year and although I am enjoying my stay, I would really like to be out of here in my new home environment. I was relinquished to this shelter because my parents of 15 years decided they were wanting a change in lifestyle. Moved to North Carolina and did not want to stress me out with the drive there and figured I would benefit best in this environment for a while. It has taken some time to adjust to my surroundings but so far so good! I am ready to find my new pet parent(s).
