Meet Paprika Paprika is a stunning flame point Siamese with a gentle soul and a heart that just needs a little time to feel safe. He was found sitting quietly outside an empty apartment in a Jacksonville complex after being abandoned, unsure of where to go or who to trust. Thankfully, he’s now safe and getting the chance to start over. Paprika can be a bit shy when you first meet him, but once he realizes he’s safe and you’re a friend, his sweet personality begins to shine. This handsome boy loves to talk to you and will happily chat back when you give him attention. He also has a playful side and loves running on the cat wheel, showing off his energy and curiosity. Paprika especially enjoys the company of other cats and loves to play and interact with his feline friends, which really helps bring out his confidence. Paprika is also FIV positive, but that doesn’t stop him from living a happy, normal life. FIV+ cats can live long, healthy lives and can often live safely with other friendly cats. Meet Jazzy – A Survivor with a Heart Full of Love   Jazzy's story is one of resilience, kindness, and second chances.   After being abandoned by a renter in St. Augustine, a compassionate neighbor took Jazzy under her wing. Because Jazzy is such a loving and social girl, she quickly became attached to the family's teenage daughter and loved spending time with her. Unfortunately, with a busy household full of children, doors were often left open, and Jazzy would wander outside. One day, tragedy struck when she was hit by a car.   The family's mom, a single mother of six, knew she couldn't afford the emergency care Jazzy needed but refused to give up on her. She reached out to our rescue on a Sunday evening, desperate for help. We rushed Jazzy into emergency care and, thankfully, after further evaluation at our veterinarian the next day, we learned that this brave girl had escaped with only minor injuries and no broken bones. It truly felt like a miracle.   Today, Jazzy is completely healed and living life to the fullest! She is an affectionate sweetheart who loves giving kisses and being close to her people. She's full of energy and can often be found racing around on the cat wheel or zooming through cat tunnels during playtime.   Jazzy gets along wonderfully with laid-back male cats, especially her friends Billy and Paprika, and she has even made friends with Margarita. She would do best in a home without young female kittens, as she can become a little jealous and likes to remind them who's boss.   With her stunning crossed blue eyes, adorable face, and playful personality, Jazzy is truly one of a kind.
