This very extra large and strong guy is seeking an adult only home with a dog savvy person. He would prefer a calmer home environemnt with active structure and preferably a home with one or two people he can bond with. Being a middle aged guy with limited background information it is important that his new home has an understanding of dog body language and communication to help him feel comfrotable while settling in and forming a bond. He is feeling a little lost in shelter life and can appear anxious when he is away from the staff here, but does settle in time. He doesn`t take long and he is wiggles and ready to be your best guy. This guy will require a private consult or basic manners class with his adoptions.Size: XXL 66kg / 145 lbs Children: Adult only home pleaseCats: untested, slow introductions Dogs: May prefer an only dog home. Slow introductions recommended

Story
Melody is a sweet, affectionate 2-year-old girl and a total cuddle muffin who loves being close to her humans. She is intelligent, playful, ball-obsessed and loves exercise. She is exceptionally gentle with people and has never shown aggression toward a person. She lives with two teenagers and is wonderful with them; her compatibility with young children is unknown.Melody needs to be the only pet in her new home. She has developed resource guarding and has had aggressive incidents with our smaller dog, although she has never broken skin or caused an injury. She has also had occasional incidents with our cat. Our other dog has become fearful, which is the sole reason we are making this heartbreaking decision.Melody recently completed a 3-week board-and-train and has great obedience skills. Additional training sessions can be transferred to her new family. We will keep her with us until we find an experienced, loving, permanent only-pet home.
