Story
Meet Daphne At 4 years old and 106 pounds of pure gentleness, Daphne is a stunning Mastiff-type girl ready to begin a brand-new chapter. She was found by a kind Samaritan who took her in for a few days and quickly realized just how sweet and affectionate this big girl truly is.It’s clear Daphne hasn’t always known the comforts of a loving home—she was likely used for breeding—and she’s still working on gaining a little weight and rebuilding her strength. Even so, her heart is enormous. Every soft tail wag, gentle lean, and affectionate cuddle shows just how much she wants to connect with her people.Daphne is a low- to medium-energy dog who enjoys a relaxed lifestyle. She loves human attention and would be happiest spending her days lounging nearby, going on daily walks, and enjoying both physical and mental enrichment to keep her content and prevent boredom. She is food-motivated, takes treats politely, and already knows the cue “sit.” Daphne thrives with positive-reinforcement training, which helps strengthen her bond with her person and build positive associations as she settles into home life.Daphne previously lived with other dogs and did well, though she prefers calm, slow introductions. Dogs closer to her own size are recommended, and she would do best in a home without small animals.Due to her size and strength, Daphne is looking for a home with older children and an adopter who has experience with Mastiff or large-breed dogs. In return, she offers unwavering loyalty, affection, and the kind of quiet companionship only a gentle giant can give.Daphne has waited long enough—she’s ready to finally be someone’s family.

Story
Meet Piper Piper is a 11-year-old Mastiff who was heartbreakingly dumped by her owners, despite clearly being a dog who once knew love. She’s gentle, sensitive, and incredibly people-focused — the kind of dog who leans her whole weight into you just to feel close.Piper has handled every bit of shelter life with grace. She greets staff with soft eyes and a low, hopeful tail wag, and she passed every part of her sociability, handling, food, and toy testing with Grade A behavior. She doesn’t guard, she doesn’t push, and she’s far more interested in her humans than any toy we offer. When it comes to other dogs, Piper would prefer a calm, respectful dog who matches her slower pace, but she would also be perfectly happy as the only dog in the home.Piper has a medium energy level for a senior mastiff — she enjoys daily walks, enrichment, and time outside, but she’s equally content lounging next to someone she trusts. She communicates beautifully, responds gently to handling, and is overall a truly easy companion. After being abandoned and let down, Piper deserves a quiet, stable home where she can exhale and finally feel safe again. If you’re looking for a calm, loving senior who just wants to be someone’s whole world, Piper is ready to go home.

Story
Meet Wendell! 💛 Wendell is a 6-year-old Mastiff mix with a heart as big as his 75-pound frame! This gentle giant was taken in as a stray at just 7 months old and has spent the last several years living peacefully in a home with 15 other dogs of all ages and sizes. He’s truly a pack-friendly boy who gets along with everyone. Unfortunately, his owner had to downsize her dog family, so Wendell came to us. From the moment we met him, it was clear—this boy is pure love! 🥰 He’s chill, affectionate, housebroken, and oh-so-sweet. Wendell absolutely aced his temperament test and showed us just how easygoing and wonderful he is. If you’re looking for a loyal, laid-back companion who will fit right in with your family, Wendell is your guy! This handsome hunk of love is ready to give his heart to a forever home. 🐾 Housebroken 🐾 Dog-friendly with all shapes and sizes 🐾 Big, gentle, and so loving 🐾 Perfect family dog
