Magellan is a male Great Dane looking for his forever family. He entered our program after a tragic situation that left him without his family and him at large in the community for nearly 2 months. After trapped by a local animal welfare advocate, Magellan was transferred to MAS Bully Rescue for vetting, care, and careful screening for adoptive placement. Magellan is currently in a foster home with no other animals and is doing well. As he heals from injuries and we get to know him better, we will begin temperament testing him with other animals; but at this time, we don't have any indication of his sociability with others. Magellan is located in Texas, but can be adopted nationwide to the right home. Interested in adopting Magellan from our program? I have been on several dog day out adventures! Here`s what my volunteers said:`Super sweet and calm boy. Loves naps and ear rubs. Gives lots of kisses. Great for a laid back household. Food motivated.``He lovessss to eat and cuddle it took a bit for him to warm up but he was amazing!``Moonshine is a giant love bug! He loves to snuggle, give lots of kisses, and he like to wiggle on the couch while you pet him! He is good with strangers, mild on a leash, well potty trained and very praise motivated. Moonshine would be a perfect new family member!`
