Story
Reba is a sweet young Great Dane that was found as a stray with a broken leg and another leg non-weight bearing. We believe she had been hit by a car before being discovered by her finders and it was discovered that the back leg that was non-weight bearing had an old injury that had not healed properly. She was underweight and was crawling with fleas when we picked her up 12/30/2023. Reba is a sweet, affectionate girl who loves to lean on her people for pets and gets along with other dogs. She is house trained and crate trained. Reba is decent on a leash, but would benefit from continued training and an anti-pull training collar. She is a typical Dane and just wants to be with her people! She does the Dane-lean and follow you around and lay at your feet while you work. She is laid-back with spurts of zoomies and other silliness - which is a bit of a struggle while she's trying to heal from surgeries! :) Miss Reba is healing from her TPLO (knee surgery) performed 2/16/24 and her front leg is healing up as well! She will have a long scar on her knee from the surgery and her front right leg is a bit larger than the left from healing the break, but other than that, she is a normal, happy young dog. She was spayed 3/27/24 and may need to have another knee surgery unfortunately, but is otherwise ready for her furever home! Help us find miss Reba her forever home!
