Meet Nyx: Your Playful Gentle Giant Awaits!
Nyx is a stunning 2-year-old spayed female Great Dane weighing about 87 lbs — a true gentle giant with a heart full of joy! She’s fully up-to-date on vaccinations, house-trained, crate-trained, and ready to bring endless love and fun into your life.
This happy girl is bursting with playful energy — she’s affectionate with everyone she meets, loves greeting new people with wags and excitement, and thrives on playtime. Outside, Nyx turns into a puppy at heart: running, jumping, and zooming around when she has a playmate! She adores playing with toys, treats, and especially rope tugs. At the same time, she’s a champion cuddler who settles beautifully indoors, making her the perfect mix of energetic adventurer and cozy companion.
Nyx knows basic commands like sit and paw, walks well on a leash (with just a little excited pulling now and then), and loves car rides. She’s great with other dogs of all sizes — big or small — and has experience living in a home with a big yard, though she’s adaptable and doesn’t need one as long as she gets regular walks to burn off that playful energy. She’s been fantastic around a teenage boy, romping and cuddling with him, and is comfortable with both men and women.
While Nyx plays a bit rough (as big Danes often do!), she’s all love and no known health issues, allergies, or special needs. She’s calm when crated alone and has no reported separation anxiety. Note: She’s not good with cats, so a cat-free home is best.
Nyx is searching for a forever family where she can get plenty of love, playtime, and walks. Whether you have experience with giant breeds or are ready for your first, Nyx would thrive with someone dedicated to giving her quality time and affection. A home with older kids or teens would be ideal for her playful style!
