Meatloaf is a 4.5 year old male rat terrier who doesnt have a mean bone in his body, though as with many rat terriers he is prey driven and will keep your yard vermin free.Meatloaf has an older brother who bullies him and it has started to take his toll.on Meatloaf who is a more docile, submissive soul, and has become more anxious and stressed. When he stayed with a friend with 2 other dogs he was so happy and confident there that he cried when he returned home.I realized that in our home environment he is getting robbed of his best dog years. He displayed a happy confidence while away that he doesnt have here. He loves his person, loves other dogs, loves walks and excersise and I truly want to upgrade his life at this point. We have tried many other things with the other dog including a behaviorist and anti anxiety meds to little avail amd of the 2 Meatloaf has the chance to have a great life with another family. I am looking for the best, not fastest home for him.

Our precious little guy, Benji, is just the most darling 4 lbs. Chi/Yorkie mix puppy that you will ever find up for adoption.  There is no human that he doesn't want to be friends with and no dog that intimidates him, no matter the size.  He is living with children aged 4 to 16 and enjoys the fast-pace of his foster home with all the bigger dogs, kids and family sounds and people coming and going.  He is curious and fearless.  Recently this little guy attended a Puppy Yoga class at the YMCA with 40 people in attendance.  He raced around the huge Yoga class just having the best time being a lap buddy for a few minutes with lots of cute woman and young teens, and then running off to make another new friend!!!!!   The room was big, there were lots of people there and other bigger puppies, too who were running around.  He joined right in looking for lots of fun, lap snuggles and trying to make as many new friends in an hour as he could! Mr. Fluff is a delicate little one-year-old, Deerhead mix Chihuahua weighing just 8 pounds, and who is searching for a calm, nurturing home where patience and love come first. While he is undeniably beautiful on the outside, his heart is still healing from a difficult beginning. Mr. Fluff came from a home that just could not take care of him. After one month in foster care, he has made truly remarkable progress and continues to blossom every day. In his foster home, Princess Fluff has learned that laps are safe, cuddles are wonderful, and gentle voices bring comfort. he seeks affection and enjoys being close to his people once he feels secure. Inside the home he is relaxed, playful in his own quiet way, and his sweet personality is beginning to shine through. he is still building confidence outdoors and leash walks in a fenced yard will prove to be a big confidence booster for him. Mr. Fluff would thrive in a home where his people can continue this positive exposure at his pace. Car rides and neighborhood strolls are goals we know he will enjoy as he gains confidence. Mr. Fluff would do best in a peaceful home with plenty of time and attention devoted to him. he may do well with one other calm, confident dog, but he truly wants to be someone’s special boy. Children in the home should be over the age of 10 and able to respect his gentle nature. he is crate trained and making steady progress with house training. We are being honest in saying that Mr. Fluff still has some shyness to overcome — but he is absolutely worth the patience and love it takes to help him fully bloom.
