Story
Hi Everyone. My name is Rayna, or Ray-Ray, or Sweetheart, or Good Girl, or Sweety. The person that I'm staying with calls me all those things. It's been a pretty rough road for me and because of that, I've become very scared of fast, sudden movements, and people, in general, but in only 1 week with my doggie sitter, while my foster has been on something called a vacation, I've really started making progress. I even lay on her bed with her, nudge her hand with my nose, and let her pet me now!!!! I love other dogs and will play with them, follow them all over the place, lay with them. And I don't mind cats at all. The lady I'm staying with says I'm perfect - I don't go potty in the house, barely shed at all, don't bark, snarl, growl, nip, and I don't chew things up. I'm not really into toys - at least not yet, and after I'm given some time, I will probably get used to being pet more. I'm not a cuddler and am not a big fan of being picked up. You can, but I will get really tense (but I don't shake or nothing!). The lady always talks to me in a quiet voice and I like that. I love having a kennel to climb into to either sleep, or just feel safe, especially during storms. I know most people want a dog to cuddle with, and I'm not that, but I still really want a place to call my home. I require a fenced in yard and 1-2 other doggie siblings to show me the ways of the house and provide security. My foster and sitter truly believe that there are some special people out there that would love to have me in their home and are willing to provide me the time needed to relax and become a true part of their family. Could that be you?Thank you for your interest in a Sandi Paws Rescue, Inc.
