Story
Introducing Cam! This endearing elderly gentleman is eagerly awaiting the moment he finds his special person. Cam is a true homebody who craves the company of his human companion for plenty of heartwarming cuddles. In his foster home, he coexists with 12-year-old and 7-year-old canine siblings, joining them on walks with grace. While he gets along, he's selective about his personal space and prefers to maintain a bit of distance from other dogs. Cam would be an excellent match for respectful, easygoing dogs or would equally thrive as an only pet. He is kennel-trained, although he may express some initial whining when you leave. Cam is a well-behaved companion on a leash and relishes his daily walks. He has consistently kept his crate clean and is diligently working on perfecting his potty training. He's also begun learning the basic "come" command. Although initially shy, he has warmed up to his foster mom, accompanying her everywhere she goes. He finds immense comfort in being nestled in a cozy blanket and adores being held and petted, particularly around his neck and head. Cam has encountered a few of his foster mom's friends and, while timid, he's displayed a good-natured demeanor, though he may require time to build trust with people and dogs. He has never shown aggression, though he might seem a bit uncomfortable at first. Cam appears to relish the comforts of a home, gradually growing more confident as he explores the house and yard. His affinity for snuggling in blankets and his devotion to his human are truly heartwarming. With each passing day, Cam's confidence continues to shine through, and he's not afraid to protect himself with his bark. Cam would thrive in a household with a family that is frequently home, such as retirees or those who work from home, providing him with the security of constant company. While he might do best as the only dog, he's also learning to trust the resident dogs. Puppies and young children might be a bit too energetic for him, as he leans toward a quieter, stable environment. He has shown promise in the car during his limited trips. If you're in search of a loyal and affectionate companion who adores blankets, snuggles, and leisurely walks, Cam is the perfect choice. While it may take some time and patience to earn his trust and make him feel safe, he's a genuinely sweet boy and an excellent lap dog.

Story
Meet Mojo!! He's well-versed in crate training and an exemplary canine companion. Typically, he spends his nights in a kennel within his foster parent's room, but he would like to curl up in bed with us if he could. If you're thinking about taking him for walks, be prepared for a bit of training because Mojo has a strong desire to march to the beat of his own drum once he's outdoors, happily exploring in various directions. However, when you utter the magic word "come," his ears perk up, and he immediately listens, regardless of what he's up to. One of Mojo's favorite pastimes is greeting new people by flipping onto his back, inviting belly rubs as a sign of warm welcome. In fact, he could probably spend the entire day receiving belly rubs, it's his ultimate pleasure. As the sun sets and his hunger is satisfied, Mojo is ready to snuggle or nestle under a nearby blanket to snuggle up with his human companions. If you toss him a toy, he'll playfully dart over to it, but instead of picking it up, he'll rush back to you for more belly rubs - a game he adores. Mojo embodies a truly adventurous, fearless, and loving spirit. He explores new things and environments, such as when he first ventured into his foster home, enthusiastically exploring every room. While he isn't a frequent barker, he does enjoy a little backyard adventure, barking a couple of times within our securely fenced yard, hoping for a response from neighboring dogs. If they don't respond, he's content to return inside, but if they do, it's game on! He'll joyfully sprint back and forth across the yard. Mojo is incredibly sociable and yearns to get to know every person he meets - probably in the hopes of securing more belly rubs. He's highly adaptable and can match his energy level to yours, whether you're up for a game or simply want to unwind and cuddle. I believe Mojo would thrive in various environments, and while it might take him a little while to warm up to other dogs in a new setting, once he's part of the pack, he'll undoubtedly shine.
