Twice the Love: Meet Nadia & Max! 🐾💕 Some things are just better in pairs, and that is certainly true for this precious duo. Meet Nadia (a 15-year-old, 10 lb Poodle) and Max (a 12-year-old, 16 lb Poodle). These two have spent a lifetime together and are looking for a soft place to land for their golden years. ​Their foster says they are both incredibly loving and food-motivated—the fastest way to their hearts is definitely through their stomachs! They are absolute gentlemen and scholars when it comes to house manners; they are potty trained and will either use a potty pad or wait patiently at the door. Nadia is an independent, curious "silver sister" who we suspect might be deaf, but she doesn't let that stop her from exploring. Max is her devoted shadow; while he has some separation anxiety, he settles in beautifully as long as he has a human or another dog (especially his Nadia!) by his side. ​These lucky pups even spent an evening at a baseball game recently and were total stars! They get so excited for their walks and, while their curiosity leads to a few "tangled leashes," they are a joy to have around. 🐾✨ Meet Mitzi ✨🐾 Mitzi is a 7-year-old (DOB 12.25.2018🎄), 6-pound toy Aussiepoo. Mitzi belonged to the grandma of our rescue president, and found herself needing a new home when she passed away🥺. Over the years, Mitzi has made her way around the family, and as we’ve learned more about what truly makes her happiest, we know it’s time to find her the right forever home 🏡 Mitzi is teeny tiny, incredibly sweet 💕 affectionate, playful (loves to play fetch and carry a toy in her mouth). She’s dog-friendly 🐶, cat-friendly 🐱, potty trained, and prefers to be right by your side at all times. She will follow you everywhere, loves being held, and gets SO excited when you come home 🥹 She is a perfect combination of lap dog and energetic, she definitely is not lazy. Her ideal home: 🌿 A house with a yard (she loves being outside and does great going potty outdoors) 👩‍💻 Someone who is home most or all of the time (WFH, retired, etc.) 🐾 A calmer environment - she is in a home with multiple dog and cats currently. 🧘‍♀️ Mitzi does have a “tiny boss” personality 😅 When other animals get rowdy, she tries to step in and regulate the situation, which isn’t ideal given her size. Because of that, she needs a lower-energy home where she doesn’t feel like she has to be in charge or if she does, she won’t be at risk of being hurt by a larger dog. We are looking for the perfect fit for Mitzi, not just the first to apply💛 We would also really love a home that’s open to staying in touch so I can see how she’s doing. ✨ Mitzi is spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped and has no major medical issues ✂️ She will require regular grooming.
