Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Latka is a 3 yr old toy poodle dumped by breeders when no longer needed. Patience will be needed to show this little one what living in a home is like as she was probably in a crate or kennel most of her young life. Latka is currently in a foster home with other small dogs learning that there is more to life than being used for making babies for profit. Please visit our website for more info on our adoption process and adoption application www.barkdogfarm.org                         Before applying be sure you have thoroughly researched this breed. Small dogs can tend to bark alot and initially need guidance with house breaking. We do not recommend kids under 10 as this dog likely will be frightened9f kids. Small dogs can live up towards 20 years. Where do you see your self in 15 to 20 years with this dog?  Please be sure all family members are in agreement to adopting and your family is ready to bring dog home now. Applicants must be at least 21 years old. We do not have blanket criteria regarding adoptions. Each applicant is considered based on many things including but not limited to breed experience, yard ( visible fence preferred) and other animals in home. We try to avoid dogs with same sex households as great pyrs typically do not do well with the same sex. A volunteer will be in touch to discuss your application and the dog to determine if it is a good match. Your vet and two references will be called.  A virtual home visit done. Once approved a meet and greet at the farm will take place.  If all are in agreement  an adoption contract will be signed and adoption fee paid.  Adoption fees for dogs are $500. for adults over 12 months, $600 for puppies 12 months and younger.  Fees for seniors, special needs or harder to place dogs will be determined by our Board of Directors. All dogs will be altered when adoption is finalized. This may involve young puppies be given until a certain age to be altered. All animals are up to date on age appropriate core vaccines, negative for parasites, heart worm and lyme tested if 6 months or older, microchipped and have a current health certificate.  Proof of a basic obedience course completed is part of our adoption contract within six months. Our descriptions are based on shelter evaluations, input from foster homes and interactions with our volunteers but are in no way a guarantee of temperment. We show animals by appointment only. This is usually done meet outdoors so please dress accordingly. Please email barkingdogfrm@gmail.com with any questions or to arrange a meet and greet.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 10, 2025, 9:02 am

Story
Teddy is the cutest puppy we have ever seen! He's a tiny little chaos bear - full on teething and the typical puppy high energy...he adores wrestling with his foster siblings - his best friend is a 50lb pit bull mix (also up for adoption!). Teddy requires a home with other dogs in it. He is fine with children though no babies as he is so small that rough hands can hurt him easily. He is still working on housetraining so please dont apply if youre not willing to housebreak him. Teddy is fostered in Hoston TX and will not be transported until adopted. His adoption fee is $850 (plus transit if not local). In order to be considered as his new paw-rents, you must fill out an application at www.recycleddogsrescue.org. Inquiries to this ad alone will not receive a response due to high volume and low follow though by adopters. https://youtube.com/shorts/x1AK9lxD5tI?feature=share
