Pepper is a super sweet girl who was rescued after spending 5 years tied to a utility pole with little to no shade and only a plastic barrel for shelter. Despite her past, she is incredibly loving and gives lots of kisses. She is very smart and learns quickly! Her constantly wagging nub tail will simply melt your heart. Pepper is house-trained and typically only barks when she hears other dogs barking. She gently accepts treats and is food and treat motivated. She also LOVES to be brushed! While Pepper gets along very well with her little brother and big sister, she can be somewhat food protective. This is beginning to resolve itself though since meals are now consistent in her life. Pepper is agile and would need a home with a privacy fence. Sniffing out and chasing squirrels, rabbits and chipmunks is the highlight of her day! Pepper rides well in the car. She is still working on her leash skills but is steadily improving each day. She is unfazed by household noises like the vacuum, washer/dryer, lawn mower, etc. Pepper does, however, get very nervous during thunderstorms and fireworks and seeks shelter under a bed or in her crate where she feels safe. She has not been exposed to young children or cats. She did see a cat while on a walk and seemed curious but did not respond aggressively. Pepper would do best in a home with another dog as a companion, but would be fine alone. She primarily wants affection and reassurance from a loving family understands she will need a little time to adjust to her environment. After time spent with foster Pepper is now doing good with kids. Just wants attention from everyone. Makes for a great family dog.

Meet Wally! 🐾💚 Wally is a tri-colored beagle mix and an absolute cutie pie with the sweetest little face! This handsome boy may be a little shy when meeting new people, but we’ve loved watching his confidence grow more and more each day. With a little time, patience, and kindness, Wally is learning that the world can be a wonderful place. One thing Wally is absolutely sure about? He LOVES his doggy friends! Wally feels happiest and most confident when he has furry friends around, and watching him play and interact with other dogs is one of our favorite things. Wally will need a securely fenced backyard in his forever home to help keep him safe while he takes the time he needs to bond with his people. He may not be the pup who rushes up to strangers with a wagging tail, but we know that once Wally trusts you, his love will be something truly special. Wally just needs someone willing to give him a chance… a little patience… and the time to show him how wonderful life can be. Could you be the forever family this sweet boy has been waiting for? 🐾💚

🧚 Tinker Belle At just 11 months old, Tinker Belle is already showing what a wonderful family companion she can be! This adorable Basset Hound mix is playful, affectionate, social, and happiest when she’s included in whatever her people are doing. Kids are absolutely her favorite! Tinker Belle is incredibly sweet and affectionate with children. She loves greeting them, playing with them, and snuggling up beside them. She’s even eager to say good morning and help wake the kids up—because apparently no one should have to start their day without a little Tinker Belle love! 🥰 She would thrive in a family where she can be part of the daily chaos, cuddles, playtime, and fun. Tinker Belle is also cat-friendly, crate trained, and a fantastic car rider. She sleeps comfortably in her crate at night and during the day with no accidents. She is doing really well with house training, with only minimal accidents when she isn’t given enough opportunities to go outside. She knows how to let you know she needs out by standing at the door and scratching, so a bell or another door cue could help her become an even better communicator. Tinker Belle LOVES people and has already enjoyed meeting new friends out in public, including at the ballpark. She approaches people with a friendly, happy demeanor, making her a perfect game-day companion or adventure buddy. She’s calm and settles beautifully in the car, too! She’s curious about cats and may occasionally try to chase them because she wants to get closer, but she has shown no aggression toward the cats in her foster home. Tinker Belle is still learning to share high-value treats with other dogs and can show some resource-guarding behavior, but she responds very well to redirection. She could live happily with or without another dog, with some supervision around meals and special treats. And speaking of special treats… Himalayan salt bones are definitely the way to Tinker Belle’s heart! 💜 Tinker Belle is still a puppy with so much love to give. She’s playful, cuddly, silly, social, and eager to be part of a family. If you’re looking for a dog who will greet your kids in the morning, play with them, snuggle with them, and then happily tag along for whatever the day brings, Tinker Belle may be your girl! 💕
