Story
Meet Cinnamon! Cinnamon is a "let's live in the country" gal looking for a quiet, adult home who has experience with shy and guarding dogs. She is not a social dog but will bond slowly to one or two household members. Cinnamon will work for food and eventually "comes around" to new people, but she is much happier with few visitors. A resident dog is tantamount to her happiness and to ease her shyness.

To be considered for adoption, pls submit an application in advance.   Adoption fee: $700 Meet Bandana At just 12 lbs, Bandana is a pint-sized bundle of charm— a 1–2 year old Beagle/Terrier mix with a big heart, a silly streak, and a deep love for his people. He starts every day with a happy wag and a quick morning routine: out around 7am for a potty break, breakfast, and then a walk that can be as short or as long as you’d like. He enjoys stretching his legs, sniffing the neighborhood, and taking in the world around him, whether it’s a leisurely stroll or a more active outing.   Back home, Bandana spends the day with a mix of play and relaxation. He loves a good game of fetch with a tennis ball, and he also entertains himself with toys and chews. Once he’s gotten his wiggles out, he’s all about the cozy life— napping near his foster parent while they work, curling up in a sunny patch, or snuggling in for ear and chin scratches. His number one priority is being close to his people and soaking up all the love.   Potty training is going very well. Bandana stays accident-free as long as he’s taken out every 3–4 hours, and with consistency, he’ll have the routine fully mastered soon. He sleeps quietly in his crate at night and settles well when it’s time to wind down.   With other dogs, Bandana is flexible. He enjoys playing with his foster’s youngest dog but coexists calmly with the others, and he’d be perfectly content as an only dog or as part of a home with friendly canine companions.   When meeting new people, he may bark briefly out of excitement or uncertainty, but he warms up quickly and soon flops over for affection. His mix of playfulness and sweetness makes him easy to love: zoomies, fetch sessions, squirrel-watching, and walks are all in his repertoire— but once he’s had his fun, he’s a total snuggle bug and happiest curled up next to you. He doesn't need a ton of exercise; walks and/or yard playtime will work just fine.   Bandana’s ideal home is one that enjoys companionship, appreciates a dog who’s affectionate without being overly demanding, and can offer him a balance of activity and downtime. He’ll slot in beautifully whether you’re a single adopter, a couple, or a family with kids.   Favorite things: walks of any length, fetch with tennis balls, toys and chews, sunny napping spots, following his person around, and sleeping on his back with all four paws in the air.   In short: Bandana is a lovable, goofy little guy with a heart full of devotion and a tail that never stops wagging. With continued patience and routine, he’s well on his way to becoming someone’s loyal, easygoing, and endlessly entertaining best friend.November 28, 2025, 2:10 pm

Our adoption fees vary. Each biography will specifically list the adoption fee.Adoption fee: $750 ockette is an 8 week old Beagle/Hound mix with a sweet heart, soft ears, and enough puppy energy to light up a room. Rescued from the shelter at only six weeks old, she has settled beautifully into her foster home and is now ready to charm her way into her forever family.   Daily Routine   Rockette sleeps comfortably in her x-pen at night, complete with soft bedding and pee pads. She’s usually up around 7:00 am, politely whining to let her foster family know she’s ready for breakfast and a potty break. She’s a hearty eater, so she gets her meal right after she relieves herself— usually within minutes of finishing her food. When the weather cooperates, Rockette enjoys backyard playtime with the family’s larger dogs; otherwise, she hangs out in her x-pen or cuddles in her foster’s puppy sling. She eats again around 1:00 pm and has her final meal around 6:00 pm, enjoying a mix of kibble and canned food.   Personality   Rockette is energetic, curious, and loves being part of the action. She warms up instantly to people and dogs, happily staying close, being held, and soaking up attention. Though affectionate, she’s not overly clingy—she likes to explore her surroundings before circling back for company. She adores running around with the family’s 40-lb pup and has a natural enthusiasm for play.   Dog Interactions   Confident and outgoing, Rockette doesn’t shy away from dogs of any size. She plays wonderfully with the resident golden doodle puppy and would likely do well with new canine friends. She hasn’t been exposed to cats or kids yet, but her sweet nature suggests she would adapt well, especially in a home with children old enough to understand normal puppy mouthing.   Playfulness   This little hound mix is happiest when she’s playing—whether it’s with people, puppies, or a fun toy. She loves games, exploration, and puppy antics, and when she’s finally tired, she’ll curl up on the couch for a cozy nap. Her favorite moments are enticing the big dogs to play by jumping up to nibble their mouths, tugging on tails, or sprinting away in a burst of enthusiasm. She’s a true energizer bunny who suddenly plops into sleep once she’s gotten her fill.   Behavior   So far, Rockette hasn’t shown any signs of nuisance barking. She is, however, very much a puppy— teething, chewing, and occasionally digging as she burns off energy. Chew toys help redirect her, and her foster home expects her digging habits to fade as she gets older and begins going on walks. With her curiosity and energy level, she will likely enjoy exploring the world on leash once she’s old enough.   Ideal Home   Rockette would thrive in a home with another playful dog but would also do well as an only pup in a household ready to provide plenty of activity and engagement. She’d likely enjoy kids who understand what to expect from a young puppy and can interact gently with her. Rockette will make a wonderful match for someone who loves to stay active—hiking, running, or simply enjoying time outside.   Why You’ll Love Her   Rockette is irresistibly sweet, endlessly entertaining, and loves giving kisses. Her silky-soft ears, expressive face, and joyful spirit make her a delight to be around. She’s a loving, lively companion who is ready to grow into an incredible family dog.   If you’re looking for a playful, affectionate puppy with a big personality and an even bigger heart, Rockette is ready to meet you.December 3, 2025, 2:37 pm
