Story
Kacey came to the shelter alongside her friend Miranda and is nervous and unsure of the world around her. New people and environments can be overwhelming for her, and she’ll need a patient, understanding home willing to give her plenty of time to build confidence and feel safe. One thing that does help Kacey feel more comfortable is being around other dogs — she truly loves them and seems to gain confidence from their presence. With gentle guidance, patience and lots of love, Kacey has the potential to slowly come out of her shell and learn what it means to feel secure and cared for.

Story
Wiggles is a 42-pound boy who came to the shelter as a stray and is ready to find his forever home. He walks nicely on a leash and has a curious, thoughtful personality—he likes to take in the world through his nose first, exploring all the scents around him before settling in for pets or playtime. Once he’s satisfied his curiosity, his playful side really shines. Wiggles does well with other dogs and enjoys having canine friends to romp around with. He’s a sweet, good boy just looking for a home where he can feel comfortable and be himself.

Story
Miranda came to the shelter as a stray alongside her friend, Kacey, and the shelter environment has been a little overwhelming for her. She’s a nervous girl who is still learning that people can be kind, but beneath that uncertainty is a curious dog who wants to feel safe and comfortable. Miranda enjoys being around other dogs and seems to find confidence in their presence, though she’s still unsure about humans and needs time to warm up. She’s looking for a patient, understanding home where her people will move slowly, give her space when needed and help her build confidence at her own pace. With love, patience and kindness, Miranda has the potential to blossom into a wonderful companion.
