Dolly recently was returned to the shelter for no fault of her own. She's a wonderful girl to fall in love with. She's a perfect high spirited loving soul! When you enter the room her first instinct is to wrap her legs around you and greet you with a dog hug! Their the best! Dolly loves to be around people and go for walks. She wants all the attentions and treats! She one of the best! And some days she's full of sass!

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Looking for a Love Connection Wanted: A loving home where I can be part of the family.  I’m Bonnie, a soon to be seven-year-old Treeing Walker Coonhound looking to share life with the right person or family. I'd especially love a family with hound experience, one that will provide me with opportunities to learn barn hunt or take long sniff walks each day. I am dog selective, so if you have energetic, playful pups, I likely would not like them. However, if you have another laid back hound, I have been known to walk nicely with that type. See my video.Though I'm older, I respond very well to obedience training and leash training if you have some banana chips or other yummy treats to entice me!LOVES: ·         Sniff walks ·         Eating! ·         Chews ·         Meeting people (I love kids, they give the best pets) ·         Napping in the sun ·         A good run in the yard ·         Cuddling, pets, or just being right next to you DISLIKES: ·         Rain, snow, or cold ·         Being left alone for long periods of time NEEDS: ·         Fenced in yard (I can climb chain link fences) ·         Stability in routine ·         Home with no cats (I think they are toys to play with)     Estimated DOB:  05/08/2019 Adoption fee: $25 (6% KY sales tax included) *I have been sponsored    We would love to hear from you! Do we have any hound lovers?? We have a new guy here at the shelter that we think will steal your heart, Trapper! He was found as a stray and for some reason was never claimed. We already love playing with him at the shelter. He is athletic, curious, and soo very friendly! With these soulful eyes and the most floppiest ears ever, he will have you hooked on him in no time. He would make an incredible companion and we hope his person is ready to come and take him home soon!
