Meet Sweet Potato ????Sweet Potato is a 3-year-old Treeing Walker Coonhound with a big personality, a handsome face, and an even bigger voice! This outgoing, sweet boy is full of life and ready for an active home that can keep up with his hound energy and enthusiasm for adventure.He loves Kong toys, enjoys staying busy, and has a signature happy trot when he walks that will instantly make you smile. Sweet Potato is almost housebroken—he does great most of the time but may have an occasional accident while he’s still settling into a routine.As a true hound, Sweet Potato has a strong voice and lots to say, so apartment living probably isn’t his style. He’ll do best in a cat-free home with plenty of space to stretch his legs and a person who has the time, stamina, and dedication to give him the exercise and mental stimulation he needs.If you’re looking for a fun, energetic, affectionate companion and have room in your life (and yard!) for a lively hound, Sweet Potato may be your perfect match. Come meet him—you won’t forget him!

Story
Goofy Gus was hanging out in a shelter just north of Nashville, where his chances were looking a bit slim. He is now fully embracing cozy house life at his foster's house in Nashville, where he gets to sing along with all the other musicians in town. He is a big Cadillac of a coonhound, weighting in around 70 lbs.. A large, dopey, goofy boy, he has the BEST puppy dog sad eyes and face, but he quickly waggles his whole body and gives his humans grunts, smiles, and kisses. He is literally the cuddliest coonhound we have ever been around.... He walks GREAT on a leash and would love to explore both city and woods on leash with you. Gus also loves to lay around in the sun and shade, but would love an active family who has a large 6 ft fenced in yard.
