Meet Russell, a 2 year old coonhound/treeing walker mix whose happy spirit is as big as his floppy ears. This outgoing fellow found his way to HSSM on August 20th, 2025, after being picked up as a stray in Saucier, and he’s been charming everyone ever since. In true hound fashion, Russell has a nose for adventure and a love of life’s little discoveries. Brisk walks are his favorite pastime, especially when there are new scents to follow and corners to explore. He’s a perfect walking partner, gliding beside you like a gentleman on his leash, and he never misses a chance to make a new friend. Russell’s playful side really shines when he has another canine buddy to romp and run with. He’s already mastered “sit,” and his eagerness to learn, especially when treats are involved, makes him a quick study for any new tricks you’d like to teach. This handsome hound is fully vetted, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, and will be neutered upon adoption if not already. If you’re looking for a loyal, fun loving companion to join your adventures (and your couch for snuggles afterward), Russell is ready to nose his way right into your heart. This sweet boy is a Coonhound/Walking Tree Dog mix, and he`s full of love and adventure. Bobby is always up for an outdoor adventure, and he`s great on a leash—making him the perfect companion for walks, hikes, or trips to the park.Though Bobby is heartworm positive, he`s up-to-date on all his vaccines, and with proper care, he`s on his way to a happy and healthy future we also offer discounted heartworm treatment at our HSSM clinic. Bobby is a total love bug—he adores pets, snuggles, and just being near his people. Pepper is a beautiful 10 month old, 40 pound loving and active puppy. She’s very curious and loves to play with toys. She also loves to snuggle at night. Unfortunately, she does not get along with one of my other dogs. There have been no fights or injuries, just aggressive play, and a distaste for each other. It makes my other dog very uncomfortable and I need to remove her from my home as soon as possible. Pepper has been to day camp and overnight camp. The staff loves her and she gets along with every other dog she’s met. She spayed, vaccinated and healthy.
