Story
Video: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/TAmDTkRtmHI Bentley is a stunning hound pup about 7 months old. He found himself on death row due to space limitations at small rural shelter so we got him out. He is great with other dogs and doesn't bother cats. He has a deep bark like a typical hound and is active and happy like a typical hound. He has big paws so he might be mixed with something like great pyrenees. He's a big goofball who will bring lots of entertainment and joy to your life. He is currently still in Oklahoma where he was rescued but can only be adopted out of state where people treat animals well. We have frequent transports to the locations below. He has to be prepaid and picked up directly from transport. If things don't work out for some reason, which rarely ever happens, we will either find a local foster to take him in or he will go back to Oklahoma on the next transport until a new home is found. www.facebook.com/desideratarescue/reviews Transport locations: - Washington State (Kennewick, Lynnwood/Edmonds, Seattle/Tacoma) - Oregon (Portland and Springfield) - Colorado (Ft Lupton) - Illinois (Vandalia) - Indiana (Spiceland) - Ohio (Columbus) - Pennsylvania (Pittsburgh and Harrisburg) - New York (Buffalo and Albany) - Connecticut (Enfield) Vetting: neutered, microchipped, dewormed, rabies vaccine, bordetella vaccine, dhpp vaccine x 2, lepto vaccine x 2, heartworm tested (negative), on monthly heartworm prevention, on monthly flea and tick prevention. Adoption fee: $500 (includes the $250 cost of transport from Oklahoma) Adoption application: https://form.jotform.com/82677586784176 Desiderata Rescue is Oklahoma Licensed Rescue #95

Story
Howdy! My name is Ella, (at left) sister to fellow hound dog Mae (at right) from E Texas! I am a wonderful Treeing Walker Coonhound/Australian cattle dog blend. Texans threw my entire litter out to fend for ourselves and a kind lady trapped all 12 of us...she is a hero! Mae and I hitched a ride on a big yellow school bus they tell us is full of saved dogs who people in the PNW want to adopt! I'm mighty happy to hear my forever family is out there somewhere! I'm around 8 months old, 44 lbs, love other dogs and kids who aren't too young and crazy. Apply for me at streetsavvydogrescue.org Adoption Application

Story
It wasn’t the plan but it's absolute perfection that Abbie rhymes with happy. This girl is still on the young side, not quiet a puppy, far from being and adult but she sure knows a thing or two. Her current specialty is knowing how to perfectly sit at your feet, make you smile and then fill you up with love. Her happy-go-lucky way is so contagious! With rescue we are often left guessing a dogs age and breed, and that is true with Abbie. We believe she is about 8 months old and is some sort of hound/bully mix. She currently weighs 50lbs and still has some growing to do so you can expect her to grow into a medium/large dog. Every ounce of her is ready for the good life, one with you at the end of her leash, going on hikes, greeting all the people with her. happy face and then heading home for an all our love and cuddle session. Before you fall in love, she does want you to know, her love of stuffies/plushies is real and will be coming with her into adulthood. As long as you are supportive and encouraging of this, she will be the best girl and when you are not available for snuggles she will simply snuggle a love until you are free. We would love to see Abbie in a home with a yard given her youthful energy and love of play. She gets along well with other dogs and absolutely gravitates to the playful ones but truthfully, her love tank could easily be filled by the love of her people. She is a social girl so when you have parties, be ready for all your guests to be enamored with Abbie as she works the room and looks adoringly at each of them. If you have a cat, Abbie promises to be respectful and take it slow. When she met our house cat Tom she was respectfully fearful of him and when she did work up the courage, she retreated quickly when he gave her a swat. We feel confident that she could live harmoniously with a feline friend. Abbie is young and will need continued work on her leash skills and crate training but her attentiveness and desire to please will make training and obedience a breeze. Consistency, a handful of treats and your adoring praise will have this girl ready for anything. Adopt Abbie and get started on those party tricks and making all the best memories together! Please email : Kristin@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! Story
Make some room on the couch and clear out your camera roll for Zeniba! This lovely lady is the most photogenic dog, maybe its the sparkle in her eye or the fact that she will absolutely hold still, either way, you are going to be taking and sharing a ton of pictures of her if you are lucky enough to adopt her. The other place she will need you to make some room for her is on the couch, or a dog bed on the floor nearby, because that is where she is going to want to be. Next to or near you so you know that you are loved for choosing her. Take a look at her but come back to read more! Zeniba is suspected to be a beagle/lab mix, possibly some shepherd in there, but with rescue that is a detail we cannot guarantee given we do not know their history. She is estimated to be 5 years old and currently weighs 56 lbs. Zeniba is on a bit of a diet, don’t tell her that though. Her goal weight is right around 45lbs. Zeniba might be a bit older, but in our opinion thats a positive! She comes preloaded with great skills and is ready for lazy days in the sun. From everything we have seen Zeniba is house and crate trained, though we always anticipate reminders will be needed as they transition into a new home. Not to sound like an infomercial -BUT WAIT THERE"S MORE! Zeniba is also dog and cat friendly! An ideal home for her could look like a variety of places. Apartment or condo life is a yes thanks to her size, energy level, and quiet nature. House with a yard, lovely! RV life? Sure thing! She will be quick to find a sunny spot in the grass for mid-day naps and enjoy following you around as you tend to your garden or visit with friends and family. She will slip right into a rhythm with other pets if you have them and if you happen to have another easy-going, low energy dog she will be in great company! As for kids, her current foster host shared that she is as sweet as can be! Attentive but never pushy, all-around gentle, and so tolerant! Back to the infomercial lines- this is a limited time offer! No but really, this easy little lady is easy to fall for and even easier to invite home. If you have any questions about Zeniba or would like us to test her for a specific setting or detail, please be in touch! We can make most anything happen to ensure she is the correct fit for you and your life! Please email kristin@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions. Story
Hello ! My name is Spades, this may be bragging a little, but I think I would be your perfect companion! Let me tell you a little about myself, and you can see for yourself! I even made a list of all my great qualities for you #1: I am very people friendly and I am always so excited meeting anyone new. I even let these silly people put a cowboy hat on me, I mean how many dogs would put up with that?! I would love to join you on all your adventures ! #2 I am a great companion to other dogs. I take my title of "police dog" very seriously, and will give corrections to a new dog if they are being too pushy with play. We all just have to get along right?! I love to play chase with my dog friends though. I am good with dogs of all sizes. I can be very playful but also chill when I have had enough. #3: I could probably live with a cat! Although I haven't lived with a cat, I met one at the rescue! I didn't really care to interact with the cat, but why would you when there are people around! #4 . I really am just about the perfect size and age. I am only a year old, but already potty trained ! Being around 20 lbs I can do hikes and walks without getting tired, but am a very manageable size. My girlish figure is in tip top shape if I do say so myself. I would do best in a home with a yard to run around and play in. Although have some leash manners to learn ( I just like to go pull to see all the people and dogs to go play with, who can blame me really?) I would even do great in a busy home with people coming in and out because I am so people friendly and absolutely loves people. Given my breed of beagle mix, I can be a little vocal, so no apartments for me. Please email jacquelynn@threelittlepittiesrescue.org if you have any questions about me , she would be happy to answer ! I hope we meet soon!
