Meet Megalodon! This handsome cat is estimated to be around 4 or 5 years old. He was brought to HSoP after being taken in by a good samaritan who felt he deserved a loving home. Since he arrived as a stray, we don't know much about his background. What we can tell you is that Megalodon likes sleeping, personal space, and the occasional chin rub. He's a very easy-going cat who can stay satisfied with food, fresh water, a window perch, and a clean litter box. In his kennel at the shelter, Megalodon prefers to stay tucked away in the safety of his hidey-bed. He does come out of his shell in our adoption room though, and always makes his way to the window perch for a good view. He loves getting face scratches from his perch! Megalodon was briefly adopted into a home with a dog, and returned to HSoP after instigating issues with the dog. For this reason, Megalodon would do best in a home without dogs. We don't know how he would do around other cats, but we do offer a seven-day foster period with each adoption to help ensure a good fit. This big boy is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and will leave HSoP with a microchip containing his new owner's information. He also has some of the biggest tomcat jowls we've seen recently!
