Caramel is a beautiful medium hair torbie female kitten who is looking for a patient family to help her feel safe and let her true personality shine. Caramel is a shy girl who takes time to adjust to new faces and places. While she may always be a bit scared of strangers, she blossoms beautifully once she feels secure. As she gets more comfortable in her new home, she will make a truly wonderful and loyal companion. Once she warms up she transforms into an incredibly sweet girl who loves attention and will happily soak up all the love and gentle chin scratches you can give. Right now, she does not enjoy being held, but this may change as she learns to feel completely safe and secure with her new family. When first arriving at her new home, the best setup for Caramel will be a smaller, quiet room (like a bedroom or bathroom). This gives her a safe space where she won't feel overwhelmed, but keeps her accessible so her new owner can easily sit with her and pet her to build trust. Her ideal home is a low-key, predictable home where she can explore and adjust entirely at her own pace. Her ideal adopter is someone who understands that her circle of trust is small but deeply rewarding to be a part of. Howdy, folks! Meet Elmo, an adorable little black-and-white cowboy kitten born 05/29/2026. This handsome DMH boy started out as the shyest of his three littermates, but he’s come a long way! Elmo now loves being petted and snuggled by his foster mom and is learning just how wonderful a little human affection can be.Because he’s still a bit of a cautious cowboy, Elmo may need a few moments to warm up to his new family. Give him a little patience, gentle attention, and time to feel safe, and you’ll be rewarded with a sweet and snuggly companion.Elmo was born to a stray mama cat who lovingly raised her babies. Thankfully, some kind-hearted good Samaritans stepped in and got Mama and her kittens safely into rescue.
