Story
This pet is on a WUO quarantine and not currently eligible for adoption. His clearance date is 5/15/26.What the heck is a WUO? WUO stands for Wound of Unknown Origin. In Massachusetts, a domestic animal (like a dog or cat) with a wound of unknown origin (presumed to be from another animal) is generally subject to a quarantine period of FOUR MONTHS to observe for signs of rabies. During that time the pet must be kept in strict confinement and only rabies vaccinated personnel are allowed contact. We still give them love every day and enrichment to keep their brains working, they also get out of cage time to stretch their legs. Four months of care adds up- can you help? Story
Honey is a stunning senior cat around 12-13 years old. In 2025 her owner moved to a nursing home so we did a personal adoption, no fee or agency. They gave us a PetSafe self-cleaning litter box and we have half a dozen replacement trays for it, as well as a full case of her favorite food. Unfortunately we do not have her veterinary records, but we are willing to take her to a local vet for shots and exam prior to this adoption. Honey is well loved and will be missed but due to loss of employment and a personal health issue, Honey now needs to be re-homed. Full disclosure, Honey uses the litter box but has an occasional accident. She does not scratch up the furniture and has the loudest purr you've ever heard. She LOVES having her silky hair brushed and will squeeze her beautiful blue eyes at you as she falls asleep. ♡

Story
Athena is a good kitty, she’s just having a hard time in the house with our male cat. She’s a lap cat and loves everyone who will give her love and affection. She’s also independent and doesn’t need someone home all day. She loves to sleep with her person and loves laser lights. She’s great and gentle with my 8 month old son but would thrive in a family with no other pets and to be the only spoiled girl in the house. She is is 6 years old.
