Story
This is Lester and suki, Lester is a Maine Coon who is fiv positive he is up to date on his vet care, and no health issues. Lester is bonded with suki they have been together all their lives. So we will not separate them they must go as a pair. They were surrendered due to their previous owner passing away which is very sad, they are in a great foster home and doing great. They are very friendly and love their pets, they have been with us awhile. It's so sad because all they want is a place to call home!! Don't let the Fiv scare you people cannot contact it or dogs it is only contacted thru blood from another cat or sexual contact. Lester and suki have lived together their whole lives, and suki does not have fiv.and they are a bonded pair.

Story
A “Tiny Spirit Kitten” is a feral or extremely shy kitten that has had no socialization with people in their first few months of life. These kittens will vary in terms of becoming social in their new homes; some may become very sweet and outgoing, while others may only ever trust you and no one else. They will all take patience, dedication and hard work to help them adjust into home life. Confinement to a single small room with a litter box, food, and water is a must. They do well in a home with other animals and, depending on the kitten, may even do well with children. They will go home with specific instructions that will need to be followed in order for everyone to have a successful transition. Want to see what the process would look like if you take one of these kitties home? Check out the Kitten Lady’s video by clicking on the video link, up with the photos above! Ready to adopt? Come visit during open adoption hours: Tuesday through Saturday, 12:30 to 3:00pm. Kittens in foster care are not available for in-person visits. You can also adopt sight unseen — just call or email us at (413) 781-4000 x1 or springfield@dakinhumane.org. We return all voicemails and emails within 24 hours. Kittens are adopted on a first come, first served basis and we are not able to place holds on them.
