Story
Hi, I'm Elf! I got my name when I came into rescue, and they thought I had lost an ear! It wasn't gone, just so damaged from my days on the street, that it doesn't stand up anymore. I am a Turkish Angora, and have such an interesting story! I was imported to the US for breeding purposes, but was tossed out onto the streets of Hamtramck after I wasn't the cat they expected me to be. I wasn't doing too well on the streets, and was lucky enough to be found before I got too sick. I am such a happy guy now that I'm neutered! I love to play with toys, make biscuits, and roll around. I am really thankful to be safe and warm and in a foster home. I have been combo tested TWICE to make sure I didn't pick up any diseases during my fights, and negative both times!! I am vaccinated now too! I'm not sure if I'll want a house with other cats and dogs. I think it would be situational, and that a meet and greet or trial period might be needed. I just don't want to get beat up ever again, and lose more than my ear folding! I'm open to trying out living with nice kitties after having positive experiences in my foster home so far, but please talk to my foster mom about this further! Thanks for listening! Elf

Story
My coworker gave him to me, because he wasn’t getting along with her dog, he isn’t getting along with my cats, and I want him to go home to a nice loving home. He has to be an only pet he doesn’t get along with dogs or other cats. He does come with a cat tower, cage, and a tunnel.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hello, my name is Dexter! I'm a handsome lad looking for a long-term relationship with just the right person! Sadly, I've had my heart broken from several bad relationships that I wanted to work out, but they didn't give me the space and time I needed to feel comfortable in a new environment with new people, so I had to go back to my foster facility. I have a big personality and can get sensitive at times that might lead me to lash out, so I really need someone kind and patient to understand me. Once we are friends, I can be a loyal companion that will enjoy the simple things like good treats, cardboard scratchers with nip, and bathing in sunlight! I would be happy being the only cat in the right home, Thank you for taking the time to understand me and my special needs. I would love to be your handsome boy Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption.
