Story
Are you looking for a lover boy? I’m George, a handsome, medium-haired boy who came to Paws and Claws from a rescue partner. I’m friendly and love being petted. I’m playful, but my behavior can be unpredictable. It would be best if my adopter is cat-savvy and the home has older children or adults only. “Always be yourself, unless you can be a dragon, then be a dragon.”- “Tease Me”. Once I have settled in more, and now that I have been neutered, it is hoped that I will calm down. Then the only fire this dragon will breathe will be the sparks of love. Adoption fee $100 + microchip fee $30 + tax

Story
If you cross an angry sheep and a moody cow, do you get an animal that’s in a baaad moood? My name, Georgie, comes from a Greek word that means “farmer.” I’m not exactly in a bad mood, but I have been nervous. I don’t think anyone blames me. A lot of us cats feel that way. Thirty of us came with several other animals from a hoarding situation in early September. It’s a relief, but I still feel frightened being in an unfamiliar place. There are different people and sounds that I’m not used to, so I hide in my kennel. I do like when people pet me, though. They’re like farmers sowing seeds of kindness. When they pet me, I know the seeds are already beginning to grow. Don’t give up on me! – Georgie.Adoption fee $100 + microchip fee $30 + tax

Story
“Aloe” – Uh, I mean, “hello.` I’m Aloe, one of a pair of nearly identical-looking twin boys. My “other half” is Vera. We’re also very alike in personality, according to a person from rescue who gave info on us to Paws and Claws. We were among six young kittens who went to the rescue because the children in our home were too young to understand how to handle us gently and safely. They gave the staff at PCHS more info about all of us. Here’s what they said: “They are special kittens looking for care, each with their own special unique charm… They are socially sensitive and may need time to adjust, especially around children due to their difficult start. With patience and care, they are sure to blossom into wonderful companions. Each of these kittens has a gentle, friendly nature, tolerates handling, and is learning to recover from stress at their own pace.” Vera and I have boundless energy! We climb like nobody’s business, and we love to play, play, play! Being adopted with my twin brother Vera might help both of us adjust to our new home. The aloe vera plant is associated with strength, healing, and resilience, and what could be better than two adorable, lovable boys named Aloe and Vera! Adoption fee $150 + microchip fee $30 + tax
