ALL our cats and dogs are in the NY area but can be adopted out of state to the purrfect furever home. In some cases, we can help transport. Zani's al fresco Summer Adoptions follow us on FB to find us this summer as we will try new locations to meet the needs of NYC and support the little stores:) Heart is a 1y Turkish Angora found on the streets of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. His rescuer's notes are here: While feedings strays I noticed a newly abandoned face: Heart. Panicking, he was very hard to catch so I had to leave him. Overall, he was in good shape and very fluffy. When I came back 5 weeks later, the poor boy was very matted and very hungry. As soon as I called him, he came running and purring! He has the most adorable meow ever! He is extremely affectionate and loving, hence the name heart. He follows me everywhere and sits next to me. He is very playful as well. He has the silliest moves that light up my day. He's great with other cats so would do well with a friend. Please apply if you have a big heart and a nice feline friend for him:). All kittens are adoptable in pairs only unless another age appropriate cat is in residence. Most of our adult cats also like cat company (most fosters are multicat homes). All are in the NY/NJ area but we will adopt out of state to the purrfect home and in some cases, we can arrange transport. NO exceptions! If you would prefer a solo cat, we would be happy to recommend those cats who would do best as solo cats. All our cats are tested for feline leukemia and FIV, FVRCP and Rabies vaxed and also microchipped. Many of us (cats/dogs) will be on display on Saturdays or Sundays, weather dependent. Please ask by writing us at cats@zanisfurryfriends.org and following us on FB. If you are seriously interested in adopting one of us in particular, please fill out an application early Friday so that we can be sure to be there. Otherwise we decide based on other variables. Usually we are in our foster homes so this is a bit more stressful and a slightly artificial environment but we do want to be seen and find our furever homes too. Please come! Cats are feline combo tested for FIV/FeLV; dogs are heartworm tested and rabies vax'd, (NOT lyme vaxed but we seriously recommend it); rabbits are spayed/neutered.
