Domestic Mediumhair

Good with dogs, Good with cats, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered,
Birthday: January 19, 2021 It is incredibly hard to believe that a handsome and striking boy, like Miles, was running around outside like he was some sort of feral kitty!  This boy is anything but!  Miles' temperament is so shy yet caring that he refused to eat with other stray kitties for fear he might be rejected or worse.  Thankfully, his future foster noticed him eating from her feeding station, and with time and effort, she managed to win over his trust, pick him up, and move him inside her home! Miles was grateful for the rescue, but he was stressed out.  It was a new environment, and he would try to make a dash for the backdoor whenever it opened.  But with time, he was able to slowly trust his foster family.  At one point, he was taken to one of LCCR's fundraisers to meet some potential humans.  To much of his foster's surprise, every person who wanted to give him pettings, he accepted with no fear!  He absolutely love it! Miles is still relatively shy, but he has come a long way.  He was let down before, and building trust has been a little difficult for him.  However, it is not a lost cause!  We think he would enjoy a home where there is a lot of room for him to run around and climb!  His foster believes that he would enjoy having friendly fur buddies for playtime!  Currently, his foster siblings aren't very nice to him, and he's very depressed that they don't like him.  It's a real shame because he absolutely ADORES other felines!  When he was living outside, he charmed so many cats with his personality that it's hard to believe that any would deny him their friendship! Nowadays, Miles is enjoying his new indoor lifestyle, but he's still hoping that there's a family out there for him!  Once he develops a bond with a human, he never strays too far from them!  He may not be a fan of being picked up, but that doesn't mean he isn't affectionate!  He'll lay next to you whenever you're chilling out and rub against your leg whenever he feels happy that you're here!  He doesn't mind relaxing, and you will often find this hunk sitting by windows watching the birds or napping on a nearby couch!  He has a silly side too!  Watching him play with humans or cats is always a treat to witness!  You can tell having another person in the home makes him brimming with joy!  If you want to really make him happy, give him some toys!  He absolutely loves laser pointers and cat wands!  Heck, give him a box!  He'll treat it like his mansion! Miles' adoption donation is $140 and includes age-appropriate vaccines, dewormer, flea treatment, Felv/FIV testing, microchip, and neuter. If you would like more information on Miles, please contact Kim at If you would like to fill out an online application, please visit Please note:  LCCR does not allow our adopted cats and kittens to be declawed.  All adopted kitties are to be kept as indoor-only pets.  If you are interested in adopting this kitty, please fill out the online application at June 23, 2024, 2:57 pm
