Good with cats, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Birthday: May 20, 2022   Rufus is a big,  confident  lovebug who plays hard and loves even harder. He had a tough start in life as outdoor circumstances resulted in a URI & eye infections. With medication, we were able to save both his eyes but they both have some  long-term  damage (cloudiness). His vision  isn't  perfect but that doesn't slow him down a bit.  Rufus  is a lover and is always ready to play, especially with his scrunchy balls, which he'd like to bring along to his new home. He gets along well with other nondominant cats and loves to run around with them. He can be a bit of a diva at night as he expects to snuggle up with his humans and is always the first one in bed waiting. If he isn't on your pillow, he'll be cuddled up closely next to you.   He would love to go home with one of his foster siblings who he is already bonded with, but this is not a must as he would do well with other animals too. He has a good amount of energy since he's still young so having another furry friend in the house would be great. Rufus is so excited to find his ‘fur’ever home and share his vibrant personality with his new humans. Could it be you? Rufus' adoption donation is $175 which includes age-appropriate vaccines, dewormer, flea treatment, Felv/FIV testing, microchip, and neuter. If you would like more information on Rufus, please contact Olivia at lovingcarecatrescue@gmail.com. Good with cats, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Birthday: 2021 They say that looks aren't everything, but they were the driving point for little Miles' rescue!  One of the fosters at LCCR happened to notice this kitty because he was incredibly striking!  As soon as she noticed him, she began to leave food out of him.  To say he was timid would be an understatement!  He would hide under bushes and wait for other kitties to finish their meal from the foster's feeding station.  It took months to earn Miles' trust, and eventually, the foster managed to achieve it!  One day she was able to pick him up and bring him into her home.  Miles wasn't up for such a drastic change initially.  He didn't know what was going on, and he would constantly stress out, fearing the worst.  In fact, he would try to escape back outside - to no avail.  The foster worked with him to show him that the indoor life isn't so bad, and it seemed to work!  Be mindful though!  Though he is less tempted to go outdoors, it's better to be safe than sorry and keep this in mind!   You might be thinking this kitty may be a handful, but that couldn't be further from the truth!  Sure, because Miles is a be introverted around humans, it takes time and patience for him to get him to trust you.  However, once he picks a human, he is never too far from that person!  He always has to make sure that they aren't getting into any trouble!  Rather than a person adopting a kitty, it's more like Miles' is adopting an adult human kitten!   Thanks to his less stressful life, he's beginning to enjoy the simple things that life has to offer!  Bird-watching from the window and naps on the couch are his ideal ways to chillax!  Though he might be a bit nervous around new people, cats are a COMPLETELY different story!  He absolutely adores other felines!  Though, sadly, his current foster siblings want nothing to do with him.  He has tried everything under the sun to befriend them, but it seems to have all been in vain.  Whenever they deny him their attention, he sadly walks away.  He certainly seemed to have charmed other kitties when he was outside!  Miles was frequently sighted with other kitties playing to their hearts content! This young, high-spirited boy really hopes to find a home where there is space for him to roam, climb, and stimulating!  He loves having friends (human or kitties) just so he can interact with them and play!  You show this boy a laser-pointer or cat wand, and he knows it's about to go down!  You can even give him a box, and it'll brighten his day! You know you have won him over when he's rubbing up against your leg or laying near you.  Though he is not fond of being picked up, he's certainly doesn't hide his affectionate side from you for long! What about dogs and children?  Well, Miles has only interacted with his foster family's calm dog.  It was a pleasant experience, and Miles didn't seem nervous around him at all!  We think that as long as the puppy is calm, and the two are properly introduced, he might start broadening his friend circle!  Although, he thinks small children might be too much for him.  He's worried about being picked up, and he wouldn't want to hurt the little humans! Miles' adoption donation is $140 and includes age-appropriate vaccines, dewormer, flea treatment, Felv/FIV testing, microchip, and neuter. Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Edward is a 7 month old stunning gray cat with a white bib and paws who will be the first to greet you when you walk in the door - hoping you will sit down so he can be the first to jump on your lap. Laps, and the TLC he craved, eluded him during his first year of life as he lived with 58 other cats in the feces/urine lined home of a hoarder. Once rescued, he and his 3 brothers were shaved to remove the matted waste, medicated, altered, and placed in the home of a foster where they received what they were all starving for - attention and affection. Edward's great disposition would make a valuable addition to anyone who is willing to spend some time with him. His loud purr will convince you that you both made the right decision in adding him to your family. Please plan a visit soon!

Story
Very nice cat. He touches my face with his paw if I put my face close to him. He’s very interactive once he’s comfortable with you. I got him from someone I worked with. His kids found him in their barn but my coworker decided to rehome him. They already had pets. He was probably around 4-6 months when I got him. I am planning on moving in with my son for financial reasons. My son has a dog who is not okay with cats. It would not be a good situation for the cat.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.IMPORTANT NOTE:  This pet is NOT part of the Castaway Critters program but is listed as a courtesy to the owner.  Please do not complete an on-line application listing this pet as your selection. AJ AJ is around four years old. Two years ago he showed up as a stray at my farm. I trapped him, got him to the vet to be neutered and he tested positive for FIV. Having other cats, I decided not to release him, but gave him an outdoor enclosure. Since then he has become one of my favorite boys, but being a rescue, and in the process of relocating, I can’t give him all the attention he deserves! He loves to be held, and he loves belly rubs. He would do well with other cats as long as they get along, a female would be best. He’s a little leery of men, so I think he would do best with a female owner. He is up-to-date on vaccines, micro chipped, and recently had a dental. I am looking for a special person for him. He truly is a love!If you are interested in adopting him, please contact Diane at 516-351-7594. He is located in East Berlin, PA. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Please contact Tricia (tevans610@aol.com) for more information about this pet.Miss Fluffy Tail - Vocal SnugglebugMiss Fluffy Tail loves to be on/near her humans. She enjoys and actually demands to be picked up/held. Activity level is normal for a cat her age with her favorite toys being anything with a bell or the laser pointer. MissFT is quickly realizing her position of power in the household. Food not being delivered at her specified time, she'll let you know. Come home from work and didn't immediately pick her up to tell her about your day, expect a stern talking to. But this vocal cat makes up for her demanding demenor by cutely snuggling on your lap or on your chest.  Miss Fluffy Tail knows her worth and expects to be treated as such. She would do best in a home where people or other animals would give her a good amount of attention in a day.  MissFT has no issues eating or using the litter box. She is good with other cats and does not have any experience with dogs. Story
Birthday: May 2022 Have you ever witnessed a exhausted woman standing in the middle of her house in robes while a bunch of her children are running around like maniacs in the house?  Well, we have the cat version of that!  However, Lindsey was a helicopter parent by definition!  This gentle girl became a mother at a young age and raised two little ones by herself!  Her daughter was a rascal, but she couldn't have asked for anything less!  However, soon after they were put up for adoption, Lindsey's litter were taken to their new homes, leaving this little lady by herself.  Now, she wants to find a forever home for herself!  With a regal beauty like her, it's hard to take your eyes off of her!  She's a quiet, shy girl, but she seems to have a weak spot for other kitties!  Perhaps she longs for a family to care for since it gave her such pride when she was raising her own litter.  We know she is capable of affection after witnessing it firsthand with her kids.  She seems to want to try and be a lovebug with humans since they helped her and her family!  We think we know how you can do it too!  This girl cannot resist a good ear scratch or head rub, so they might be your ticket to winning this girl's heart! Lindsey's adoption donation is $175 which includes age-appropriate vaccines, dewormer, flea treatment, Felv/FIV testing, microchip, and spay.  If you would like more information on Lindsey, please contact Lynn at lovingcarecatrescue@gmail.com.
