Meet Albie! 🐾💛
Albie was named after Albert Einstein thanks to the crazy little tufts of fur sticking out of his ears—and somehow, the name just fits him.
Albie showed up as a stray kitten looking for somewhere safe, and we suspect he may have been on his own pretty young. He loves people, but he needs a little time to feel safe in new surroundings.
Albie isn't the type of kitten to walk into a new home like he owns the place. He prefers to hide, watch from a distance, and figure out how everything works first. When he arrived at his foster home, he spent his first three days hiding! So if Albie goes under the couch or finds himself a little hideaway when he first comes home, let him. Give him a safe spot, hang out nearby, talk to him, and let him come around on his own time. He's not trying to escape you—he's just figuring out where he fits.
And trust us: Albie is worth the wait. ❤️
Once comfortable, he's a goofy, playful little guy who gets the zoomies, loves toys, and enjoys playing chase with his foster's young adult cat. He doesn't really enjoy wrestling and is respectful of the senior cats in the home.
He's also an absolute cuddle bug. Albie will crawl onto your chest and purr up a storm, and when he's relaxed and sleepy, he'll even lift his face toward you for the cheek kisses he's loved since he was tiny. 🥹
Albie is litter box trained, clean, has a great appetite, and isn't particularly chatty. He's the perfect mix of playful kitten and affectionate companion.
Albie doesn't need someone who expects him to feel at home on day one. He just needs someone willing to give him the time to realize that he IS home. 💛
