Meet Carol, lovingly called Honey by her foster family. 🍯🐾Carol has been in our program for 615 days—nearly two years in rescue. She came to us after being surrendered to a shelter. Thankfully, we were able to save her within her final hours and give her the chance she deserved.When Carol first arrived in her foster home, she was nearly feral and terrified of people. She has never been a cat who could be rushed, but with time, patience, and consistency, she has made incredible progress.🌟Today, Carol will let her foster family gently place her on the bed, where she can watch a show with them while receiving pets and treats. She is also learning how to play with toys and simply enjoy being a cat. Recently, her foster family watched her play for nearly an hour—the first time they had ever seen her feel that safe and carefree. 🥹Carol is still learning to trust, and moving into a new home will likely be scary for her at first.
