This gentle girl has a calm, easygoing personality and prefers to take life at her own relaxed pace. While she may be a little reserved when meeting new people, once she feels comfortable, her sweet nature shines through. One of Grapefruit's favorite things in the world is food, so treats and mealtime are a great way to win her heart. She's a mellow, low-key companion who's happiest lounging nearby and enjoying the simple things.Grapefruit would likely do well in a home with other pets as long as everyone is introduced slowly and thoughtfully. Because she appreciates a peaceful environment, she'd be happiest with children ages 5 and up who can respect her space and let her warm up on her own terms. If you are interested in adopting, start by filling out an application on our website and email it to frontdesk@couleehumane.com OR you can print and drop off in person: https://www.couleehumane.com/adopt-an-animal?rq=application

Tamar is a 3 year old spayed female. She is current on her vaccinations and microchipped!Meet Tamar! Tamar is a shy but SUPER sweet lady who absolutely adores pets and snuggles once she’s adjusted to her surroundings. From the moment you sit down by her, she will crawl right into your lap and curl up while purring away. She can be a curious kitty at times but for the most part is a laid back lady who enjoys just simply lounging around.Since Tamar can be a shy lady who may startle on occasion, she would do best in a bit of a calmer and quieter home where any children are at least 8 years of age or older. Se should do ok with other low-key and respectful pets in the home given slow and proper introductions to one another. In fact, she did previously reside with several other kitties whom she got along with great! So, she shouldn’t mind having another feline friend in her new home either. If you are interested in adopting, start by filling out an application on our website and email it to frontdesk@couleehumane.com OR you can print and drop off in person: https://www.couleehumane.com/adopt-an-animal?rq=application
