Meet Hilo!! Hilo is a 1-year old neutered male. He is microchipped and up to date on his vaccinations. Hilo is a sweet, quirky guy who’s still trying to figure out this whole thing called life. New situations can be a bit overwhelming for him, so he’ll need a patient adopter who can start him off in a small, quiet space (like an office or bathroom) to help him feel safe and settled as he adjusts. Hilo is highly food motivated and firmly believes that snacks are one of life’s greatest comforts — so a future home with plenty of tasty treats on hand is a must! When he’s not waiting for his next snack, Hilo enjoys lounging in cozy spots where he can relax and observe the world at his own pace. He does well with other cats and kittens and would absolutely love to have a feline friend in his forever home, though it’s not required. Because Hilo needs a bit of extra patience and understanding as he acclimates, he’s best suited for an experienced cat owner rather than a first-time adopter and any kids in his new home should be 13+ as he can be a little grumbly sometimes. Whalan is a 6 year old neutered male. He is current on his vaccinations, microchipped, and FIV/FeLV negative! ***Whalen is bonded with his housemate Willie who is also available for adoption! So, this pair of handsome men are required to go home together - for ONE combined adoption fee! Meet Whalan! Whalan can be a shy and more reserved guy at times but he is absolutely one of the sweetest guys around! He adores slow, gentle pets from his favorite people and is happiest when he can just simply relax right by your side. When you aren’t around though he also does just fine with his independence—especially since his pal Willie is always close by! He is a very mellow and low-key kitty who otherwise enjoys relaxing his days away whether he’s lounging next to a sunny window, catnapping in a cozy bed, or hanging out with Willie. While Whalan is the sweetest guy around, he does still startle on occasion and get stressed when there is a lot going on around him. So, he would do best in a bit of a calmer and quieter home with kids at least 5 years of age or older. He should do ok with other types of calmer and respectful pets in the home too given slow and proper introductions to one another. Meet Evelyn!! Evelyn is an 11-month old female. She is microchipped and up to date on her vaccinations. **Evelyn is a Foster-2-Adopt candidate as she recovers from a broken pelvis. Evelyn is scheduled to be spayed on 2/23** Evelyn is a very sweet girl with a gentle heart and just the right touch of sass. She also recently had a partial tail amputation — which has left her with an adorable little stub tail that only adds to her charm! She absolutely loves climbing to the top of a cat tree so she can survey her kingdom, but her favorite perch of all? Your lap — especially while she’s (not so patiently!) waiting for pets. If you pause for even a second, she’ll be sure to remind you that admiration and affection should be continuous. Evelyn is currently thriving in a foster home with other cats and dogs, but she’s made it clear that she’d truly prefer to be the star of the show. She’s not overly interested in having furry roommates and would likely be happiest as a solo cat where she can soak up all the attention — as she rightfully deserves! She has also been around respectful children and does well with them. However, as she continues healing from a broken pelvis, it’s important that any kiddos in the home understand she cannot be carried or picked up. Gentle pets and calm interactions are perfect for her while she finishes recovering.
