Turkish Van kittens & cats in Connecticut

Johnny is male and June is female. We adopted them approximately four years ago, as kittens and they have been wonderful pets and a very important part of our family. They get along extremely well, and get along with our lab and we would ideally like to find a home where they can stay together. They are up to date on their vaccinations, and have annual check ups with their veterinarian. They are indoor cats and have always been well cared for and have had a great home. Our family travels quite a bit, and our lifestyle has become increasingly difficult to manage with two cats. We are therefore hoping to find a loving family or a reputable shelter/rescue organization that could help us find the right home for Johnny and June. We would be happy to provide additional information, veterinary records, photos, and anything else that would be helpful. Most importantly, we want to make sure they go to a safe, loving home where they can remain together.

He is currently in a foster home in Thompson, CT. Despite having had such a rough start in life, he is a very sweet, playful kitty after he settles in. Since coming into foster care, Blue has truly blossomed. He is a happy, affectionate kitty with a spicy side. He absolutely loves to play, and also appreciates the comfort of sleeping in his foster parent's bed. When playtime winds down, Blue is all about the cozy life. He loves lounging in sunny spots, curling up on soft, fuzzy blankets, and settling in for snuggles. Wand toys are a favorite, and once he trusts you, his gentle, loving nature shines through. He's ready to leave his past behind and start a new chapter filled with love, companionship, and comfort. He prefers a calm household without children. He may be fine with a female cat under a year old, but would probably be happiest as an only pet. Blue is 2-3 years old, and is neutered, vaccinated for rabies/distemper, and tested negative for FIV/FeLV.
