Turkish Van kittens & cats in Connecticut

Johnny is male and June is female. We adopted them approximately four years ago, as kittens and they have been wonderful pets and a very important part of our family. They get along extremely well, and get along with our lab and we would ideally like to find a home where they can stay together. They are up to date on their vaccinations, and have annual check ups with their veterinarian. They are indoor cats and have always been well cared for and have had a great home. Our family travels quite a bit, and our lifestyle has become increasingly difficult to manage with two cats. We are therefore hoping to find a loving family or a reputable shelter/rescue organization that could help us find the right home for Johnny and June. We would be happy to provide additional information, veterinary records, photos, and anything else that would be helpful. Most importantly, we want to make sure they go to a safe, loving home where they can remain together.

These sisters are AMAZING and they are looking for a home together. Heartly is a white and orange tabby and sister, Harbor, is mostly white with Calico markings on her tail and head. These girls are super sweet, affectionate and they have fun loving personalities. Heartly is hilarious, she follows us around the room when we have the hand vacuum, waiting for us to vacuum HER! She LOVES it! She is the funniest little girl. Harbor loves Bonkers Purr Pops. They are her absolute favorite treat. Both girls love to play, they are active and energetic. When it is time to wind down, they enjoy being held and are snuggly girls. As of 8/20/26 they are 4 months old. They will come fully vetted - spayed, 3 FVRCP Ch vaccines, rabies, they have tested negative for FIV/FeLV, dewormed and microchipped. Adoption/Transport fee for the PAIR is $400. I am looking for a loving and responsible home for my 1-year-old female Turkish Van cat. She is friendly, playful, affectionate, and enjoys spending time with people. She has a sweet personality and would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a loving cat. Unfortunately, I have recently started developing allergies, and as much as I love her, I feel that finding her a new home where she can receive the attention and care she deserves is the best decision for her. He is currently in a foster home in Thompson, CT. Despite having had such a rough start in life, he is a very sweet, playful kitty after he settles in. Since coming into foster care, Blue has truly blossomed. He is a happy, affectionate kitty with a spicy side. He absolutely loves to play, and also appreciates the comfort of sleeping in his foster parent's bed. When playtime winds down, Blue is all about the cozy life. He loves lounging in sunny spots, curling up on soft, fuzzy blankets, and settling in for snuggles. Wand toys are a favorite, and once he trusts you, his gentle, loving nature shines through. He's ready to leave his past behind and start a new chapter filled with love, companionship, and comfort. He prefers a calm household without children. He may be fine with a female cat under a year old, but would probably be happiest as an only pet. Elmer was rescued as a stray in Southington, and is now thriving in a loving foster home in Berlin with other cats. This handsome 2-year-old boy is truly one of the sweetest cats you’ll ever meet. Elmer absolutely adores people and will happily soak up all the love and attention you’re willing to give. He’s an affectionate, devoted lap cat who will climb right up, settle in, and purr contentedly for as long as you’ll let him. If you’re looking for a constant companion who wants nothing more than to be by your side (or better yet, on your lap!), Elmer is your guy. He gets along well with submissive female cats and would also be fine as an only pet. Elmer has food allergies, and does well on Hound and Gatos canned food, which does not require a prescription. Elmer has been neutered, vaccinated for rabies and distemper, microchipped, and tested negative for FeLV. He has tested positive for FIV. Many FIV+ cats live long, happy, healthy lives, and we fully expect Elmer to do the same with proper care. FIV cannot be transmitted to humans or to any animals other than cats. It is not spread through casual contact like sharing food and water bowls, litter boxes, or grooming. In neutered cats, FIV is typically transmitted only through deep bite wounds, and compatible cats typically don't do this.
