Thor is almost 6 years old. We adopted him from the humane society as a kitten. He loves to cuddle, is very playful, and is a completely indoor cat (although he loves to go outside on the patio and we believe he would enjoy having access to the outdoors). He is not friendly with children, which is why we need to rehome him. He has grown up with 2 dogs, and for the most part does great with them. He only recently started to show signs of stress and agitation when we brought the baby home. He’s never lived with another cat so would likely not do well with other cats in the home.

This funny, sweet, and incredibly cuddly girl came to us after facing euthanasia at a shelter simply because she was obese. With proper care, love, and a consistent routine, Peaches has already lost weight and is feeling so much better in foster care—and she’s ready to keep thriving in a forever home. Peaches lives for snuggles. She will happily burrow under the covers and patiently wait for her people to come home so she can curl up and cuddle like it’s her full-time job. When she’s not being a professional snuggle bug, she enjoys playing—especially chasing wand toys—and showing off her playful side. She’s a “large and in charge” kind of gal who knows what she wants and isn’t shy about it. Peaches would do best in a calm household where she can reign over her kingdom in peace, continue her healthy diet, and get gentle daily exercise to keep her feeling her best.
