Turkish Van kittens & cats in Corbin, Kentucky

Tomcat was abandoned in our neighborhood 3 years ago. My neighbor and myself kept food and water for him but did not allow him inside. Last year, 2025, we had him neutered and all shots. We allow him to come in and out and keep tick and flea meds on him. He used the litter box when he was neutered but goes outside now. Our vet thinks he is possibly 4 years old. We have an 8 year old female cat that hates him. She was a neighborhood stray as well but unlike him she was feral. I love Tomcat but at 74 and 75 years old, it’s too hard to care for both cats especially one that’s still young and active. We believe him to be at least half Turkish Van. His appearance is one clue, his love for water and he will literally talk to you! He’s a sweet boy and usually sleeps all afternoon! We treat him like a child and we want that for him in his future home! Loves to play and has never bothered our furniture or anything else in the house. We have two large scratching posts in the house.
