Turkish Van kittens & cats in Albany, Oregon

Mammoth was adopted by me in 2016 in colorado, she is a very clingy, loving, and sassy cat! this is far from easy for me but ultimately it's in her best interest to be rehomed. Where the problem lies, when we moved to Oregon recently we quickly realized she is extremely allergic to fleas, i won't sugar coat it, during flea season she gets sores and over grooms, which she is currently at that stage at the moment; but she is healing. We have a dog that inevitably tracks fleas in and it can not be avoided. On top of having other animals in our homes, no matter how much time passes she can only thrive and be happy when she is the only animal in the house. I am looking for someone who is prepared and educated to take her on and give her the rest of her years peacefully. She may need a vet check up. I wish for someone who has/will never want dogs, cats or any animal that may bother her. I would like to be updated on her progress. :)

Cheesecake was born in Mapleton Oregon as a stray. On Sept 18, 2017 I adopted her at 6 weeks old. She has grown up along side her dog sister Harley a mini schnauzer. They are best friends and sleep and play together. Like a dog she comes when called. When family or friends come over, she comes out to say hi after a few hours. Once she gets to know you, she will want to sit on your lap, sleep next to you, and can have a lot to say. She likes to watch water come out of the faucet and She curls up in the bathroom sink. Cheesecake loves to be combed and pet firmly. Cheesecake is a nice cat. She has never scratched, swiped, or bit anyone. She has not been around small children and would likely be afraid of all the loud noises. She uses her scratching post and NOT the furnisher. She does well at the Vet . She had to have 4 teeth removed Jan '24 and did well taking her pain meds in wet cat food. She is an indoor/outdoor cat and has killed rats
