Anderson Humane is not responsible for any unsuccessful adoptions. Ponyo is 9 years old spayed/vaccinated. She is a cuddle bug and extremely talkative and will have conversations with you. Her hair is on the shorter side now but she is a Turkish Van with long hair. She will tolerate dogs and only hisses when they get too close. She does NOT do well with other cats in the home. Ponyo has stomach issues/chronic diarrhea and will occasionally poop outside of her litter box (a couple times a week). I've taken her to the vet many times for this and have tried antidepressants, prescription diet, multiple litter boxes with low entry, and blood/stool tests come back normal.

Morgan is her given name, but she has so many nicknames that she can barely keep track! Marilyn Monroe & Cindy Crawford are her favorites, because they highlight the gorgeous beauty mark that she shares with them. She also goes by Betty Crocker, because she loves to make biscuits all day long- even air biscuits! Lastly is Roly Poly, because she just loves to roll onto her back to show you her tummy while you pet her head. She is also a big purrer, and will start up her motor the second she sees you. She's a little shadow, and just wants to roll around right beside you. If you're in the same room as her, she'll be next to you or right at your feet. She'll also put her little paws on your chest to get eye to eye with you and say hello with her little meows! Morgan is a very chill, sweet girl who would do well in a home as an only pet with another calm kitty. Morgan was born July 17, 2022. Cairo (AKA Kai-Kai) is a BEAUTIFUL 11 year old Torbie with a pretty chill - pleasing personality.She can be a bit chatty at times. She LOVES playing with a couple toys, taking naps and sitting on the love seat next to Mom while watching TV. An alternative to watching TV is interactive play with the fishing pole toy. The patio TV door is also a great place to chill and watch the neighborhood dogs and their people walk by. Pets & head scratches in the morning and evening are required on demand - but only until she informs that she has had enough.Sleeping at the foot of Moms bed (or head of the bed or under the covers leaning against Mom) is a great place to spend the night, unless of course wander-lust takes over. Then it is off to the patio TV to watch the nocturnal adventures of local birds, rabbits, squirrels, etc.Cairo is shy around new folks coming into the home and HATES the VAC-COOM! Hiding under the bed is the only safe space when the VAC-COOM starts up! Thunderstorms are ho-hum no big deal. Cairo is up tp date on shots, etc. She is a little chunky and we are trying to help her drop some weight. She likes flaked fish flavor, fancy feast ( can per day) and no more than cup kibble per day. She does receive a Churu or Delectable treat - one every few days.Cairo would like to be adopted as the only cat but we also feel like she would get along with other cats and respectful dogs with proper introductions.  *This kitty has been spayed/neutered, microchipped, and is up to date on age-appropriate vaccines.If you would like to meet this kitty please fill out an application for adoption at https://www.kindredkitties.org/cat-adoption An approved application must be on file before we will arrange for a meeting with kitties in foster care. Adoption fees for our kittens 9 weeks to 1 year are $150 for one kitten. Adoption fees for adults (over a year) are $100. Thank you for considering a Kindred Kitty.
