**Hello, I’m Nala!* * I’m a sweet **2-year-old, 45-pound female Borzoi and Labrador Retriever Mix**, and I’m ready to meet the people who will become my forever family. I’m a medium-sized girl with a friendly heart, a brave little spirit, and plenty of kisses to share! * I adore affection and love being close to my favorite people—belly rubs, ear scratches, chin scratches, head pats, and cozy cuddles are some of my favorite things. * I’m comfortable around **children, dogs, and cats**, and I enjoy making new friends. * I’m loyal and love following my person, sitting on laps, greeting people, and being talked to. * I’m **crate trained, housebroken, walk on leash, and know how to sit on command**. * I enjoy car rides and can comfortably spend some time relaxing on my own. * I love playtime, walks, hiking, sniffing adventures, running, and happy zoomies! * I’m always ready for toys—especially **soccer balls, tennis balls, squeaky toys, and plush toys**. * Treats are definitely a love language for me: hot dogs, crunchy biscuits, peanut butter snacks, and jerky treats all get my tail wagging! When the fun winds down, I’m happiest lounging with my humans or curling up in a cozy pet bed, soft blanket, or crate. I can be a little shy at times, so I’ll do best with a **patient, understanding family and gentle handling**. Meet Taffy a sweet, smart, girl ready for her forever home. Taffy is a beautiful 4-year old, 45-pound girl with a sweet, silly personality. She came to us through a local shelter after being found as a stray and quickly showed everyone what a wonderful dog she is. While at the shelter Taffy participated in numerous play groups and did great! She has shown she can be a fun, social girl.One of Taffy’s favorite things is water!! Turn on the hose, fill the pool and she’s ready!! She also loves to be close to her person whether it’s sitting on the couch or relaxing in the yard. Taffy can sometimes react to things in her environment so she is working with a trainer to build her skills and confidence. She would do best with an adopter who has experience with dogs and is willing to continue her training with patience and consistency.Taffy has so much potential and love to give to someone who will appreciate her sweet nature, keep her learning and be her loyal companion.
