Unable to keep him due to personal health reasons. Currently fostering him until we find him a good home. House trained, able to stay by himself for periods of time as needed. Does not chew furniture or household items. He is now 7-1/2 years old. He likes to chase the ball and play with stuffed toys. Recent vet appointment shows he is very healthy and is up to date on all vaccinations. He is a very mild mannered and sweet dog and does not require a lot of interaction, but he loves to go out on walks occasionally and is great on a leash.

I’m Buddy Boy—a four‑year‑old sweetheart who’s been through more than I let on. I was found wandering the streets of North Florida, doing my best to get by until a kind neighbor helped me find safety. I can’t explain everything that happened before then, but my body told part of the story: a painful leg that turned out to be a torn ligament. Thankfully, it’s been repaired, and I’m healing with a smile on my face because that’s just who I am. My foster mom says I’m the very best boy, full of love and gratitude, and all I want now is a family who sees me for the gentle soul I am. And hey—let’s prove that Black Dog Syndrome doesn’t stand a chance. Maybe dark coats don’t photograph as brightly, but my personality shines more than enough. Meet me, spend a little time with me, and you’ll see exactly why I’m ready to give someone a lifetime of love.
