Story
Jimi was dumped near our home in the winter of 2025. Left to fend for himself, he did not trust enough to allow anyone to touch him. Yet he trotted behind neighbors on their walks, daring himself to let someone near, clearly longing for companionship and affection. Having Jimi join our home was a bit of a journey which I’m happy to share with anyone interested in meeting him. The short version is that in November of 2025, we brought him in as a foster, and we have been teaching him what it means to be part of a family ever since. Jimi is playful, snuggly, great with children and other animals, smart, adaptable and goofy. He can also be quite lazy. He loves to tussle with our dog, Bunny, chase a frisbee, and lounge in sun puddles. He has been microchipped, neutered and vaccinated. Jimi needs a family who can keep him active, appreciate his snuggles and playful spirit, and continue to nurture him with patience and kindness.

Wilder is one of the most lovable boys; he has been at the shelter since he was a pup of 3 months old. He doesn’t get much interest and we have no clue why. He's beautiful and so sweet. Wilder would excel with an active family or family who hikes. Wilder would do best with older children. He is good with dogs and cats! Hi, my name is Quest I’ve been at the shelter since I was 3months old. Although, I get lots of love from the volunteers I would love to find a home before Christmas. I spent my first Christmas at the shelter. I would love to be adopted and have a family. I’m good with other dogs and seem to even be okay with cats. I’m pretty good on a leash. I’m nervous about car rides but doing much better. I’m not completely housebroken but I’ve been doing my best. I am a very sweet and loving girl who’s ready to find her forever home.
