Story
Hi, my name is Boomer and I'm about 2-1/2 years old.  I was rescued by Bond County Humane Society from a shelter in Kentucky.  I am super friendly and sociable.  I am very playful with toys.  I love stuffed toys and am content to play by myself.  I am a good listener. I want to please my person.  I love attention and belly rubs.  I am an active dog so it would be good for me to have a yard to play in.  It would be even better if it was fenced.  I like to play with a puppy at the shelter, Fendi.  I run with the toy and she chases me.  When we get tired we both lay down and just look at each other for awhile and then start running again. Even though I am twice as big as Fendi I am very tolerant of her puppy play with me.  I walk nice on leash.  I do have a special talent.  When I am waiting to come out of my kennel I dance with my front paws.  When I arrived from Kentucky I was constantly shaking my head and pawing at my left ear.  The vet determined I had an ear infection that she treated.  It turns out the vet suspected I had a food allergy causing my ear infection.  The food I eat is prescription food, Royal Canin HL. It has really helped my ear.  I am currently taking Zyrtec to help with seasonal allergies.  I am probably house trained.  I am available for immediate adoption.  I am neutered, UTD on vaccinations, heartworm tested, treated for internal and external parasites and micro chipped.  My adoption fee is waived to help offset the cost of my food.  If you are interested in making me a member of your family please complete an Adoption Profile in person or on-line at www.bondcohumane.org.  Email the completed profile to the address provided.  A copy of our policy regarding warranties, refunds and returns is available upon request.May 10, 2024, 3:49 pm
