Luna is a 3½-year-old pointer mix who has become a familiar, well-loved face here at the shelter. She’s been with us twice now, once when her family had to move and couldn’t bring her along, and again when her second home realized she had more energy and enthusiasm than their lifestyle could support. None of this was her fault. Luna is simply a bright, active soul waiting for the humans who truly “get” her.Once she connects with someone, she shines. Luna is the definition of loyal companionship. If you want to go for a hike, she’s ready. If you want to cuddle on the couch with a blanket, she’ll curl right in. She’ll hop in the car without hesitation, give you that big “where are we going next?” grin, and happily tag along for whatever adventure the day brings… as long as it doesn’t include loud noises or cats. Those are on her “absolutely not” list.Luna can be selective with other dogs, so meet-and-greets are required, and she’s not a dog-park kind of girl. But she is a dream on the leash, calm, focused, and happiest out on the trail with someone she trusts. Morning Pup Cups with volunteers are her love language. She savors every single one like it’s a ritual.If you’re looking for a companion who will adventure with you, snuggle with you, and devote herself wholeheartedly to your life together, Luna is waiting.

He came to us through no fault of his own, and he’s been showing off his mellow, easygoing personality ever since.He’s a total pro when it comes to grooming. Baths, nail trims, ear cleaning, all handled like a champ. Toys aren’t really his thing, but treats, cozy beds, and a comfy spots absolutely are. This sweet guy isn’t high energy or demanding; he’s happiest just hanging out, enjoying a soft bed, and soaking up quiet companionship. If you’re looking for a loyal, low-key friend who’ll be content simply being near you, he’s ready to bring his calm, loving presence into your home.
