Hello, World. Meet Mississippi! -ADVENTURE BREED -LAB VISZLA MIX Mississippi is just 8-10 weeks old and we think she may be a Lab and Viszla but with rescue it is always a bit of a mystery! Mississippi is playful and SUPER sweet. She absolutely THRIVES on affection and cuddling is her language of choice. She loves to play with other dogs and her toys and then cuddle up for a nap. Mississippi is still pretty young so she will need a patient family that is ready for training, socialization and all of the fun stuff that comes with owning a young puppy. However, she will make up for it with a bunch of kisses! Her new family will have to work with her on potty training, crate training, and basic commands. As she gets older, we anticipate she will be a higher energy dog and will likely require physical and mental exercise daily. She will be perfect to take on long walks around the neighborhood! Mississippi is still at the age where she can be easily socialized to coexist with children, dogs & cats! Currently fostered in Texas- her litter is hoping to be transport elgible early June and on their way to the PNW! By that time they'll be current on all shots, spayed/neutered, healthy & ready for their Forever Family!! Don't miss out on this amazing girl! Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no choice but to euthanize animals for space. We prepare them for adoption by properly vetting and providing individualized care through our incredible behavior program that consists of socialization and leash training for all animals that enter our adoption program prior to matching them with loving families who will treasure them for the rest of their lives. They are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts once adopted, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! Three Little Pitties Rescue will soon be celebrating our 5 year anniversary! Over the course of this time, we have been very fortunate for so much growth, allowing us to further connect with the community and save many lives. Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 10,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be brought into our rescue program. Together, we can be heroes. Story
Hi my name is Jackson and my foster family thinks I'm the best boy! They saved me from being euthanized with only two hours to spare. I live with 5 other dogs and we all get along great. I came into their space and was friendly and respectful. I am potty trained and walk well on a leash. I am not a fan of bicycles and like to bark at them when they ride by. My foster have been working with me on this, and I'm doing better. I love to be outside and love the water. My fosters have a pool and I get in it everyday! I play great with all my foster siblings and love when we all chase each other. I am a big boy but I love to sit in people's laps. I love getting all the pets and cuddling after playing. Fun fact about me … I don’t beg at all while my foster mom and dad are eating at the table! I sit like a good boy! My fosters laugh at me when I grumble but that how I communicate! I would love a family that is active and has another dog for me to play with. It would also be a huge plus if there was a pond or lake near by for me to play in! When I'm inside, I'm a calm guy that likes to lounge on the couch. Oh I'm also kenneled trained but my fosters let me stay out sometimes when they aren't gone too long!
