I'm 57lbs, and I am seeking my forever home! Adoption Donation: $350 Meet Jamie! This handsome German Shepherd mix is ready to find a home to call his own! Jamie is a young, happy boy with stunning brown eyes that perfectly match his beautiful coat. His sweet and friendly nature makes him an easygoing companion who just wants to share his love. Jamie gets along great with other dogs and would enjoy having a furry friend to play with. Whether he's romping around with pals or soaking up affection from his humans, he’s always ready to brighten your day with his joyful spirit. If you're looking for a loyal and loving pup to be part of your family, Jamie is waiting to meet you. Could you be the one to give him the forever home he deserves? My litter includes: Jamie and Morgan All dogs are microchipped, neutered, current on all vaccines, heartworm tested (if age appropriate), and up-to-date on preventatives at the time of adoption. An application is required to view our adoptable pets. All household members and any dogs from the household need to be present to be able to adopt. A photo ID will be required at the time of adoption. Appointments are recommended. All applications are considered general. Specific animals are NOT put on hold for adoption. When you visit, our adoption counselors will be able to make suggestions based on the type of pet you are looking for and help you find the best fit for your family. Animal House Shelter cannot guarantee the breeds of the adoptable animals. The animals are posted on the website as the breed or breed mix based on their physical characteristics they most resemble. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. **If you are interested in being considered for this dog, please be sure to complete an application directly on our website - not through a 3rd party service.**   Meet Bubba, a 4–6-month-old, 45 lb pitbull with possible Vizsla mix with a giant heart and an even bigger personality! This big, goofy puppy is all about love, playtime, and figuring out life one silly step at a time. Bubba may not quite realize his size yet, but he definitely knows how to make people smile. He’s currently working on house training and making great progress, (about 90% there) and he sleeps soundly through the night in his crate. Bubba is very responsive to the little bit of training he’s had so far, and he’ll thrive with an adopter who’s excited to continue guiding him as he grows. He's mastered the art of "sit" and is working on other commands too. Bubba was found wandering the streets with a female dog who is suspected to be his sister, though he hasn’t yet been tested with other dogs, kids, or cats in his foster home. With proper introductions, he may do wonderfully—he just hasn’t had those opportunities yet.  Bubba does not require a fenced in yard, but will require an adopter who will make sure he gets ample exercise and enrichment.   If you’re looking for a lovable, eager-to-learn puppy who will reward you with endless affection (and probably some hilarious oversized puppy antics), Bubba might be your perfect match! Most likely a vizsla/American Staffordshire/mastiff mystery mix, Reba was found wandering the streets of Chicago with her brother Bubba. Since joining her foster family, she has become crate trained, housebroken, microchipped, spayed and up to date on all her age appropriate shots. Quick to learn commands and already knowing sit, down, off, come, crate, and wait, Reba would do best with a family that has large dog breed experience. Being the only dog, hanging out with older kids and having a fenced yard to play and do zoomies would be a dream come true for Reba. Her forever family should be ready for games of fetch followed by belly rubs and couch cuddles. Reba would enjoy long hikes, having a jogging or biking partner, and maybe even a little agility work. Reba will benefit from obedience training to help her learn to be the best dog buddy a family could ask for.
