I'm 57lbs, and I am seeking my forever home! Adoption Donation: $350 Meet Jamie! This handsome German Shepherd mix is ready to find a home to call his own! Jamie is a young, happy boy with stunning brown eyes that perfectly match his beautiful coat. His sweet and friendly nature makes him an easygoing companion who just wants to share his love. Jamie gets along great with other dogs and would enjoy having a furry friend to play with. Whether he's romping around with pals or soaking up affection from his humans, he’s always ready to brighten your day with his joyful spirit. If you're looking for a loyal and loving pup to be part of your family, Jamie is waiting to meet you. Could you be the one to give him the forever home he deserves? My litter includes: Jamie and Morgan All dogs are microchipped, neutered, current on all vaccines, heartworm tested (if age appropriate), and up-to-date on preventatives at the time of adoption. An application is required to view our adoptable pets. All household members and any dogs from the household need to be present to be able to adopt. A photo ID will be required at the time of adoption. Appointments are recommended. All applications are considered general. Specific animals are NOT put on hold for adoption. When you visit, our adoption counselors will be able to make suggestions based on the type of pet you are looking for and help you find the best fit for your family. Animal House Shelter cannot guarantee the breeds of the adoptable animals. The animals are posted on the website as the breed or breed mix based on their physical characteristics they most resemble. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. **If you are interested in being considered for this dog, please be sure to complete an application directly on our website - not through a 3rd party service.**   Meet Bubba, a 4–6-month-old, 45 lb pitbull with possible Vizsla mix with a giant heart and an even bigger personality! This big, goofy puppy is all about love, playtime, and figuring out life one silly step at a time. Bubba may not quite realize his size yet, but he definitely knows how to make people smile. He’s currently working on house training and making great progress, and he sleeps soundly through the night in his crate after a few minutes of protest. Bubba is very responsive to the little bit of training he’s had so far, and he’ll thrive with an adopter who’s excited to continue guiding him as he grows. Bubba was found wandering the streets with a female dog who is suspected to be his sister, though he hasn’t yet been tested with other dogs, kids, or cats in his foster home. With proper introductions, he may do wonderfully—he just hasn’t had those opportunities yet.  Bubba does not require a fenced in yard, but will require an adopter who will make sure he gets ample exercise and enrichment.   If you’re looking for a lovable, eager-to-learn puppy who will reward you with endless affection (and probably some hilarious oversized puppy antics), Bubba might be your perfect match! Sweet Fonzie is a 10-year-old male Pointer/Hound mix and weighs about 80 pounds. He is potty-trained, does great in his kennel, sleeps through the night and can generally be trusted on his own in the house (even though he hasn’t been left alone for too, too long yet in his foster home). Fonzie’s favorite things are cuddling, snacks, sniffing and being the best boy!! He gets along with dogs and cats – and loves to play chase, and he loves people of all shapes and sizes. In addition to being top-notch cuddlers, Fonzie’s new family will need to have a fenced yard, OR have a strong person to take him on walks because he’s quite strong and wants to pull towards awesome sniffies and other playful pups. He will need continued work on this so he can be a more polite walking buddy. Fonz is very food-motivated which will help with his continued training. He already knows several commands, including sit, paw, here, and down – and has learned “in” to go to his kennel when its meal time. Fonzie is proving to be a super smart pup and will thrive with a family who will continue to keep his mind occupied and teach him new things – can cuddle with him a lot.
