Hello! My name is Munchie and I'm a 3 year old Labrador Retriever/ Weimaraner Mix currently living at the Santa Barbara Campus, eager for a new home! Munchie is everything you’d hope for in a mix of Lab and Weimaraner: sweet, outgoing, playful, and always ready to be part of the fun. She may be a little shy when meeting new people for the first time, but she warms up quickly and she has shown us her friendly personality! Munchie came to us when her previous owner was no longer able to meet her needs but she has regularly attended doggie daycare, where she made plenty of friends. She has also done well in the car and enjoys the company of both people and pups. Whether she’s going for a walk, visiting a park, hopping in the car, or joining in on an outing, she is happy to be included! Munchie is house trained and while she enjoys being active, she also knows how to settle down and relax. Munchie is looking for a loving home where she can continue being the happy, social, adventure-loving Lab she is. If you’re looking for a friendly companion to join you on walks, car rides, outings, and everyday life, Munchie might just be your girl! Like all animals at Santa Barbara Humane, before going home I will be spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped​. My adoption also includes a complimentary post-adoption health exam with a participating local veterinary clinic as well as a supply of Hill's Science Diet food to help make my first few days at home a little easier. If you're ready to welcome me or another animal into your family, stop by during adoption hours—daily from 12:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., except Wednesdays. No ​appointment or advance notice is ​r​equired! Need to pick up a few essentials before heading home? Visit the retail center at either Santa Barbara Humane campus, where you'll find toys, treats, collars, leashes, and more at competitive prices. Every purchase helps support the animals in our care and the programs that serve pets and people throughout our community. We hope to see you soon!
