Story
Hello everyone, meet Gamora! Are you looking for a spunky and active companion to keep you entertained? If so, Gamora is your girl! Her favorite activities include running around outside, going on walks, and snacking! This girl is smart too! She already knows how to “sit” and “shake” and I’m sure in no time, she could be an obedience pro! If you have other dogs at home, we’d recommend a meet-and-greet prior to adoption just to make sure everyone can get along and play styles match well. While Gamora is a total sweetheart, she can be nervous meeting new people, so she is looking for an adult only home. If Gamora sounds like the one for you, give us a call at our Adoption Center at 859-873-5491 to find out more about her or to schedule an appointment to meet her!

Consider the lifestyle change this puppy will come with. He cannot be crated for more than 3-4 hours at a time until he’s older. Puppy-proofing your home will be necessary. Puppies scratch and nip, so if you have small children, can they handle this? Training will be so important in this puppy’s life. Do you have the time? Adoption donations cover pre-adoption vet costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter, heart worm test if applicable) microchip, worming and flea/tick/heart worm (if applicable) preventatives. Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. We appreciate your understanding that your newly adopted dog will help others in need. Story
Are you an athlete, runner, hiker, or outdoor enthusiast looking for the ultimate companion? April is your girl! She’s ready to be your energetic sidekick on every adventure. April is a 1-year-old German Shorthaired Pointer mix weighing in at about 60 pounds ~ pure muscle, pure heart, and pure fun. She’s always up for a game of tug-of-war, and her toy collection is her pride and joy. April is both house-trained and crate-trained, and she’s a quick learner. She’d thrive in an active home with someone who understands high-energy breeds and can give her the physical and mental stimulation she craves. She’d also love a canine sibling to romp around with! However, April is not a fan of cats and definitely has her eye on the birds above ~ classic pointer instincts! One quirk to know: April is a bit of a fence climber. A wooden privacy fence or a home with another playful dog to keep her busy will help her stay grounded and happy. April has all the makings of a loyal, loving, and lively family dog ~ as long as she gets the exercise and guidance she needs. If you’re ready for an energetic, affectionate partner who will never say no to a run or a game, April is waiting to meet you!
