Story
Hola!! Mi amo Winona, como esta??? I am doing pretty well! Except I am still looking for my furever family.... :( I was found as a very very young puppy, with my siblings on the side of the road. No one knows where my mama is... unfortunately in the south LOTS of "people" would rather kill the product of unaltered female and male dogs than actually just get them spayed and neutered......... and very likely that is why we were left so carelessly on the side of a road at 2 weeks old.... just to die... Anyway, off my soapbox because so so many people and rescues in the south are working hard to overcome stupidity and do the right thing so it doesn't happen to other pups! I am a sweet and really gorgeous girl. My siblings and I looked very pittie and weimaraner size/temperament and personality wise. I have a gorgeous apricot colored coat with some blonde highlights (the kind you get at a fancy hairdresser :), mine were FREE :) I am now 3.6 yrs old and in my maturity I have stopped all the puppy antics- no chewing, barking, digging, peeing or pooping all over the place for me!! i am well mannered, will hang out with you while you work and then we can go for a walk or a run and then binge watch Masterchef (I LOVE ME some GORDON RAMSAY!!) until we get sleepy! That is my ideal day, so if you are down for hanging out with me all the time, fill out the adoption application and just give me happy and loving home please!! Local adoption fee is $300 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes transport to your area)

Story
Gia is a gorgeous 10 week old (as of 7/20/26) female mixed up mixey mix breed. We know that her mom is a bully/bird dog type (think Weim or Lab) but we have no idea what dad was! Likely a farm dog sort - a Herding Hound seems plausible! Gia is currently approximatley 9 pounds, and we believe will mature to a 30-40 pound adult. Gia came to us from Southern Virginia with her 7 siblings. Her mama was saved from a cruel existence where she was essentially starved as she gave everything she had to her litter of babies, These happy healthy kids show us that Mama did a wonderful job. Now it is time for Gia and her sibs to find homes here in the North. Gia is a sweet social girl. Loves toys, loves cuddles, loves being a bit of an ankle biter - all the typical puppy things! She would be great with just about any family, and we could see her easily living with respecful kids, other dogs, and quite possibly cats so long as she is given proper instruction on how NOT to get smacked. As with any puppy, hard work is the name of the game. The cuteness makes it worthwhile though, we promise. Gia will need crate trained, house trained, obedience trained, and socialized. She will need to be taken out and about to see what this big wide world has to offer. Meeting as many people as she can, friend and stranger - imperative. Puppy classes would be a wonderful tool to help her (and you) along. Gia will be available in a couple of weeks. If you are interested in her, don`t delay, and please fill out the application

Story
Ren is a 10 week old (as of 7/20/26) male mixable mixton mix breed. We know his mom is a Bully/Bird Dog sort of mix (think Weim or lab) but we can only guess at dad - maybe a herding hound? Ren currently weighs in at about 8 pounds and we expect him to be a 30-40 pound adult. Ren came to us all the way from Southern Virginia. His mama had this litter of eight in a not so great home where they were essentially starving her. Whatever nutrition she had she was giving to these babies who are fat and healthy. Now Ren is in the market for a chilly Northern home! Ren is a laid back little boy but still has plenty of puppy spunk. He is a gorgeous little blue boy who would likely do well in just about any household. We imagine he would be fine with other dogs as well as respectful kids (meet and greet required with both). As for cats? We don`t know, but we believe with a little bit of work he could learn to respect them relatively quickly. Just don`t expect your cat to necessarily love him back! As with any baby puppy, Ren will need plenty of patience and work. Crate training, house training, obedience training and LOTS of socialization. Keeping puppies home 24/7 is doing them a disservice. We want families that will take their puppy out and about to see all the strange things and sounds that the world has to offer, and to meet just as many people as possible at a young age. You helping your new dog to grow into the best adult he can be! It will be a lot of work, but every so worth it.Ren will be available in a couple of weeks. If you are interested in him, please fill out the application

Story
Rue is a gorgeous 10 week old (as of 7/20/26) female marvelously mixed-up mix breed dog. Mom was a bully/bird dog (maybe Weim or Lab) mix and we have no idea what dad was - though judging by colors, maybe some sort of herding/hound. Whatever it is, these babies are ADORABLE. Rue currently weighs in at approximately 9 pounds. We believe that she will be between 30-40 pounds when full grown. No promises!! Rue came to us in a litter of 8 from Southern Virginia. Their mama had been nearly starved to death and was giving everything she had to these precious babies. Rue is an outgoing happy baby. She is a typical baby - loves her toys, loves to wrestle with her siblings, loves to cuddle and eat shoelaces. She has a sweet demeanor and will be a great addition to just about any family you can imagine. As always, a meet and greet will be required with all members of her new family - even the canine ones! Make no mistake, all this cuteness comes with a lot of hard work. Rue will need to be crate trained, house trained, obedience trained and socialized. She already has a great start since she has been to more states than a lot of people have! Essentially, dedication and patience will help to ensure that Rue grows up to be a spectacular adult and a wonderful friend for life. Rue will be ready in just a couple of weeks. If you are interested in her, don`t delay, and fill out the application

Story
Hux is a 10 week old (as of 7/20/26) male mixologist mix-alot mixmix! We know that mom is a Bully/Bird Dog type of mix (think Weim or Lab) but Dad is a mystery. We believe he was some sort of herding/hound mix, but just a guess! Hux currently weighs in at about 9 pounds and we expect he will be a 30-40 pound adult. Hux came to us all the way from Southern Virginia with his 7 siblings. Mama did an outstanding job of raising her babies, giving them everything her body had to give even though at the time she was herself being starved. Superstar mom! Kai is a happy, social little chap who has a liking for shoe laces and the occasional ankle. Normal pup stuff! He would likely be fine with other dogs and respectful kids, though a meet and greet would be required for both. Cats are an unknown, but with some rules and direction, he would likely learn to respect the feline rules of his new home. Puppies are a ton of work - on that you can rely. Hux will need crate trained, house trained, obedience trained and socialized. He needs to have rules and boundaries. He needs to be taken to all the places and meet all the people in order to create a brave confident, happy adult. Yes, it is time consuming, but the best puppy home has the time to give their new pup! Hux will be available in a couple of weeks. If you are interested in him, please fill out the application
